Course Curriculum Overview
The course which I took it to my liking as i have been into coding since I was in the 6th grade. I think that the overall Indian college first year syllabus should be changed as it includes subjects which are not necessary for your perticular feild.
Internships Opportunities
There are people who are availing internships as soon as in 2nd year so I am really excited for that myself. And there is almost a certain chance that you are gonna get a internship before you graduate.
Placement Experience
My college offers nearly a 100% placement. With the average package ranging from 7-9 lpa. The last year's highest package was 52lpa am which is really impressive if you ask me. From 3-4 year you are eligible for campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees is 475000 with no additional costs except the hostel fees and the money required for buying lab coats, calculator etc. The entrance test exam registration fees was 1400?. There are people with a 100% scholarship in tuition as well as hostel fees. The college doesn't plan on increasing their fees anytime soon. I belong to the general category
Campus Life
The club life of SRM is good indeed with a lot of clubs getting regular sponsors. Mostly all the clubs are run by students only. The clubs do really help in students get some real life experience via different projects and activities. The classrooms are well facilitated with smart boards and good lighting and air conditioning.
Hostel Facilities
We are given a cupboard a desk and a bed. The bed doesn't include a matress so that's a bummer. The mess is mid with good edible food but which doesn't taste well most of the time. The facility to price ratio is well maintained and reasonable.
Admission
I applied to lpu, Mahindra uni, SRM NCR. Got a seat in all of those but took admission here as this clg is the best of them all. To get in SRM IST you need to score minimum 60% in your 12th boards and then give the entrance examination.
Faculty
The curriculum consists of 4 ct tests and when they're marks are added up with assignments and lab records they make 60% of the overall grading and the end sem exam does the rest. The faculties are really friendly and approachable. There is a lot of student teacher interaction going on despite the the 70 student classes.
Night Life
The cafeteria closes by 9 bit the library is open till 12am . Hostel in timings are different for boys hostels and girls hostels with boys getting more freedom. The boys have in time as 9 while the girls have int time as 6:30 to 7
