College life

Teaching methods are good and comprehensive and exams are frequently in a span of 5 to 6 month semester we have exams in almost 3 consecutive months The difficulty level is set so that students who study well can score good marks and make their internals better The curriculum is real world based and teaches you to fit in the real life scenarios very effectively

People become eligible for placements in 3rd year itself And a large number of companies visit the campus for placements offering a greater and a good package for those deserving The college offers a total 100 percent placement My plan is to get a degree and getting placed and taking an experience before my higher studies which i would think to be MBA FROM a good institute Companies visited are De Shaw,amazon,microsoft etc 6th semester students are prepared for placements and are guided accordingly

The year wise fees for big data analytics happens to be 400000 rs per year at my time but now it has increased for the upcoming students of following batch The college also provides scholarships like merit based ,founder based,alumni based etc for different criterias and they offer a good amount of relief The college takes serious actions on topics like scholarships and timely actions are taken moreover I got a scholarship of rupees 90000 overall for scoring a perfect 10 cgpa in first year .

There are various clubs in the college offering a greater networking and working experience and making u aware of the corporate hierarchy to be followed I myself am a treasurer in a club of ACM SIGKDD The annual festivals are of national level namely Milan and aarush Aarush is a tech fest demonstration of various tech products and milan is a cultural fest offering a wide and exciting journey of 4 to 5 days The life is good and occupied when occupied in a club and it offers a lot to offer and experience and many friends are made through clubs Clubs are of many levels and types Like milan is organised by DSA and aarush organises aarush tech fest

Rooms are well equipped and have a fan table chair cot and many hostels are there some are ac and some are non ac U can choose and pay accordingly for them In chennai theres a hunid climate and a lot of heat in daytime so i prefer ac hostels Meals provided are up to the mark of a mess food and provide really delicious and balanced diet with a blend of north and south indian and a mix of taste for students Mess also offers special food on festivals and other occasions Hostel is registered thriugh a student portal which opens at the time of booking and u have to pay the fees and rooms are booked The locality is totally exciting and great with potheri lake outside but a little costly when u shift outside in pg and flats U r equidistant from the arch gate on both sides and plenty of pgs and accomodation is there I prefer to own a bike or scooty

I chose this college because i gor the best Among all the colleges that i applied this offered mtle the best experience and work and college life Great campus Extremely effective teaching methods and greater aspect of growing Admission process is that it holds an exam online in three phases consisting of MCQs In this people are selected according to their scored marks and they are allotted a campus of srm Also those scoring good under 100 rank are offered a scholarship of 100 percent in tuition fees I got a confirmation from UPES dehradun but i thought and realised that srm is better and a bigger achievement for me than other colleges i got a confirmation

The faculties are interesting and knowledgeable and take deep interest in explaining things to the students properly They are helpful and coordinating Course structure happens to be a set of 3 class tests summing up to 60 marks internally and semester exams for 40 marks left Out of hundred we get a grade O IS THE TOP MOST GRADE THEN A+ Then A Then B+ Likewise

The college has a own gym ,cafes and many eatout spots but they usually shut before 7 and then u have your spots outside the campus whixh are really interesting and offer a very nice friend circle Some shops are open whole night to make people comfortable and offer a eatout spot in night also Like midnight biryani and coffee house etc U can enjoy further by roaming around in the cool weather of chennai around 11 pm and its totally safe Eat maggi outside and various other south indian dishes are available plus lime and other variety of juices The famous shawarma roll and other items equip you by their taste
