As per our research, students say that it really isn't as bad as people say. It is a great college, in terms of facilities. You can easily score a good CGPA if you put even a little effort, and you can have fun too while maintaining a good CGPA. They have everything they need around them in terms of food, restaurants, and places to have fun. Travelling to the city is quite easy, once you get here and get familiar with the city. The teachers don't really teach and things are outdated, but that's the scene in every college and you will have to study on your own. There are also a few teachers who are really great and if you maintain good relations with them, you can work on area projects and do wonders. The placements here are good too provided you put in the effort. You can't expect a 12LPA+ job without putting in the effort. Yes, the medians and means are low because a huge chunk of people are mass recruited, doesn't mean you can't get a good job. It all depends on how you study. The mess is decent, depends on yourself. Hostels if you get the one you want; it's fun and great with minor problems like ac not working once in a while, but if you complain they fix it within an hour or two tops. If you find some likeminded friends you can have all the fun you want as well as do well in academics.People unnecessarily hate SRM. It is not as bad as people say it is.

Yes! I received a whole years fee as scholarship as well as a department merit scholarship so there are many opportunities! It totally depends on the hard work. On campus jobs are not supported but we can definitely take up a paid internship and the college doesn?Ûªt stop you from doing that.

Fees were hiked but not for the existing batch so that's a positive. Financial assistance was self funded, and remained the same during the 4 year period of the course. As well as for all the other expenses.

As we joined the college in the year 2018, and the university revises the regulation every 3 years, we got an updated curriculum with a good theory to practical ratio. There were enough talks by various industrial people, and visits were lined up but couldn't be fulfilled because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Dr. Anbalagan is a very experienced and knowledgeable faculty who helps us understand the theory while making sure we know the practical application of the same.

Nice college for all students across India

No I dint optSRMJEEH, subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination. SRMJEEH i.e. SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Health Sciences (SRMJEEH) is conducted by SRM for UG and PG courses in health science.

The course for chemical engineering is quite up to date based on what is actually required in the industries. Yes, we were given the opportunity to go on an industrial visit. The faculties are quite knowledgeable. However, some of them are old which can lead to clash of opinions at times.

This college provides scholarship based on merits, poverty,low income, sports.college will provide loan upto 10 lakhs that u have to pay after u r course completion accordingly. U have to pay ur debt when placed in campus selection or something else

SRM University - A college full of life.

There are scholarship for people whose parents income is less or if his/her parents are farmer. Apart from that 50%fee waiver is given to students with 90% in PCM in 12th also the toppers of every year.
