SRM University Chennai B.Tech Artificial Intelligence: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

It's just 400000 no other few is taken from us . In total I am having a 1600000 no other fees have been collected from me . For hostel I paid 117000 for the 1st year and 127000 for the second year. I have taken an appartment outside for the 3 rd tear

as i'm a day scholar i didnt opt for hostel or the bus facilities available..there is a 1 lakh scholarship for students scoring or having cgpa 9 or above..there is also sports quota available in the college also..i wrote srmjee and joined the college so there is no need for management quota..if u opt for it then it may cost you lakhs

I was studying btech AI in SRM University, i was paying the amount of 400000 per year and i have paid 20000 amount as donation fee. Tution fees costs 20000 rupees and caution fee is 10000 resgtrion fee rs 5000 i have paid 50000 as lab fee and remaining amount are taken for other compulsory charges .I have come under the category of MBC my othe community friends also pay the same amount as i said except the one who got scholarship under sc and st category and some got scholarship as 1st graduate in their family. Pudhumai pen scheme is vaild for the girls who have studied in the government school from 6th to 12th standard and Some people apply for educational loan in Indian bank , union bank and many more they The teaching quality of the college is good as i expected and placements have been gaurenteed and internships are staring from the second year of the college. college facilities are good and very neet and maintenance is very good . Last year i have paid the same amount of fee and the maintenance fees has only increased this year because of some issues the fees structure has been changed and the payment method has been changed from last year i have been paying through cash but this year the payment method has been changed to online payment and no one is able to pay by cash so the only way to pay the fees is online payment only no other method is valid. Now this year many programs has been developed and new facility has been given to the students to make use of their time i have completed MS office as a extra skill course in my college in the evening time so they collect fees for this course also i paid rs 1500 for this course typewriting also performed in my college and uts fees structure is rupees 4500 many extra courses can be teached and exams has been conducted for it and the certificates cam be issued for every course after completing the course it helps to make us learn many skills and develop my skills so the payment of the fees is worth for i pay. The yearly fees is Rs. 4,00,000. With also additional charges of 3000 for the sem exams, it depends on the number of credits and exams but its the approx amount. Also seeing the pattern from before it is more likely to increase again.

Year wise fees-425000 depends on the course you choose and it increases yearly apart from that hostel fees is 200000 varies from the types of hostel you choose ac with attached washroom and ac with common washroom non AC with common washroom

You will be paying 450000 every year and the fees tends to increase every year for new admissions while the fees stays constant for what you paid from your first year, other than the tuition fees there are no other fees except the registration fee paid at the start and there are no management categories everyone is same over here. Every other department fees differs by a lakh or so Scholarships need to be found on your own the college will provide you with certain scholarships the merit needed is CGPA above 9 and no standing arrears

The fees is yearly 250000. Every fees is included in this. The hostel fees was 110000 when i joined ,but now it has increased. Scholarships are available for students with the best cgpa in class. Reservations are available for students in the chennai locality

I fall under the category of defence scholarship as my father serves for Indian Air force . All defence brats get 25% defence scholarship And for that they have to meet the criteria which changes every year but for safe side it is 8 - 8.5 cgpa.

Fees structure is one of the challenge that students should face. Even though the curriculum and facilities are excellent and are of high standards, the fees is pretty high. I padi 3.5 lakhs every year for tution fee. For computer science Students, it vary from 3-4 lakhs, for other brances it can be somewhat lower than that, but higher in other charges. You'll definitely spend other 2-3 lakhs on other curriculum requirements like projects, exam fees etc etc for entir four years. High fees is only a negative point for SRM, but it is worth it. There will be no hikes in fees, once your fee structure is fixed, it will be continued for other years also
