Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is well planned and sufficient time is provided for every topic. Both theory and practical goes hand in hand. The recent one provides SEC and Vac in which we can learn about the topic which helps in our life.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship are provided within the first year and the roles vary from field to field. There are internships from IISC BANGALORE they are stipened you get 15000 approx monthly if you are doing the research work in science field.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is affordable approx ? 27000 per year. I think all the courses have same fee except computer science which is a bit higher. You can avail national scholarships or the college offer fee concession if the family income is below ?5 lakh per year. The faculty provide information regarding internships and you can apply for interview for placements in last year of your course.

At this score you can get this college in first cut off list. Yhe admission process of DU is very smooth and completely online.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because statistics is a rising field and is used everywhere . Also l had a good command on Statistics and maths in 12th standard. I believe that this course is really very relevant for today's world but could be made a bit more practical to be applied in real world situations.

I my opinion they must add the logical and critical part more than the traditional proving part in all core subjects . Its more like we are becoming a bookworm rather than to train our minds logically.

I believe that my course has relevance in the upcoming generation. Statistics is a department where a person could flourish and learn a lot and at the same time applying it in their own life. There could be more connections with real examples and professors could take example and also enhance our knowledge. My course is a rigourous course which needs proper studies as well
