Course Curriculum Overview

The inclusion of laboratory work and hands-on training with instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and transducers was a major factor. The lab sessions are well-aligned with real-world instrumentation tasks such as calibration, troubleshooting, and measurement system design. Case studies and project work helped bridge theory and practice.Incorporate more project-based learning and simulation assignments rather than relying heavily on lectures. Invite guest lectures or organize workshops with industry professionals.Typically, there were two internal assessments per semester plus the final exam. The timing was generally appropriate, though sometimes the gap between the end of the syllabus and the exams felt too short for thorough revision.

Campus Life

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course curriculam as moderately relevant and fairly comprehensive. The core subjects like semiconductor devices, electrical technology and engineering influenced my decision, as they are from the foundation of technology. The curriculam provides decent exposure to real world applications through labs and projects, through it lacks focus on emerging technologies like ai cloud and others. Exam held twice per semester. more hands on training and updated content. Teaching method could also benefit from incorporating more interactive and project based learning approaches.

Faculty

The faculty at our college is very qualified, with many holding PhDs and significant industry exposure. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:20, ensuring personalised attention.Professors are approachable and supportive. The course structure is well organized with a balance of theory and practicals. Exams are conducted every semester, with two IA and one final exam. While not overly difficult, consistent study is essential.Roughly 5-10% of students may struggle to clear a sub. Overall curriculam is moderate and a solid foundation.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is well deserved. My program is a about Electronics so I get a good info about the semiconductor manufacturing world. Well I guess the only improvement my course need is that there should be more often study trip to the centre where we can the manufacturing of Semiconductor materials. The exam is conducted in 6 months gap and is easy.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees for the particular course ranges from 14k-15k , it often flactuates sometimes it's a bit high sometimes it's a bit lower than that but doesn't show any drastic change. Apart from this there is no extra other fees but in each semester one has to fill the examination form that costs around 1800-2000 .

Course Curriculum Overview

I am in the first semester currently and am enjoying the course altogether. The practical classes are what attract me more I really enjoy doing experiments with semiconductors, which are in our syllabus in the first semester. The thing I don't really appreciate is that we have not got a full six months in our first semester, and the exams are knocking on our doors. There are projectors in our department, so we can see and visualize things better, which enhances our learning experience in the college. I will be appearing for the first semester exams next month, so currently,y I cannot comment on the difficulty of the exams but the previous year's questions that were provided were quite easy so I guess even this year the exams will be easy.

Campus Life

Initially, the freshers were held in December, and other than programs happen now or then in the college. even before the Durga puja, some functions happened. All kinds of books are available in the library and anyone having a college library card can access those books. Books ranging from the world of literature to commerce and science are available in the college library. Every classroom is well-equipped with smartboards and projectors. Our college celebrates an annual sports day every year, and there are enough facilities for people in the sports field in the college.

Faculty

the college faculties are very experienced in teaching their specific course, teachers are very interactive to their students for academics, sports. the teacher I liked very much his name is Hari singh sir, he is one of the best faculty in electronics course. the exam pattern of the college be like semester vise held by the college or we can say that university, there are 6 semesters in graduation and total 6 exams held by the college per semester and the difficulty level is not so much but strictness is very high during the exams, those students were failed in the examination whose attendence is less then 60% and SCPA less than 6.0
