Admission to the college is merit-based, with a quick and efficient process facilitated by helpful staff. Located near Connaught Place and New Delhi Railway Station, the college offers a supportive faculty environment and organizes numerous workshops. With a student-to-teacher ratio of 30:2, the institution emphasizes discipline and requires an admit card for entry. The annual course fee is approximately INR 14,000, making it affordable for middle and lower-income families, while the University of Delhi is known for its low fees.
The college conducts two exams per semester, with most students passing. Students placed through the Central Placement Cell receive average salary packages of around INR 5 lakhs per annum, with the highest offer being INR 8 lakhs. However, many students opt for further studies like an MSc instead of immediate placements. Internships are facilitated by the university's placement cell, but students often seek them independently. A minimum CGPA of 8 is required for placement eligibility.
Scholarships are available for course toppers and ST/SC students, with fee concessions for general category students. The estimated total fee for a three-year course is around INR 50,000, including tuition and exam fees, with a slight increase in odd semesters. Although the fee structure is low, especially for BA courses, job placement opportunities are minimal, and companies do not conduct placements at the college.
