Zakir Husain College Admission 2024 has started. The admission process is carried out to all UG and PG courses through the centralized Delhi University Common Seat Allocation System (DU CSAS). Zakir Husain College PG Admission 2024

Zakir Hussain College provides PG programs in 3 streams under which M.A, M.Sc, and M.Com courses are offered. All the courses are offered for 2 years, as full time regular courses. The PG curriculum is provided in several specializations. Applicants must pass graduate degree with the required percentage of marks to be qualified for any of the PG programs. Admission is granted on the basis of CUET PG scores.

Step 1: Register for the Entrance Examination

Zakir Husain College admissions to all UG & PG courses are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. To apply for admission, candidates must register for the following entrance examinations:

  • Candidates applying for CUET must select Delhi University while filling out the application form. Additionally, they must choose subjects for which they have appeared or qualified in the last qualifying exam.

To successfully submit the CUET application, candidates require various documents such as -

  • A scanned copy of the recent passport-sized photograph
  • Scanned copy of your signature (black ink)
  • Photo ID proof issued by the government (Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)
  • Marksheets of all qualifying exams
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Banking details for application fee payment

Step 2: Appear for the Entrance Exam

Candidates who filled out the application form must appear for the entrance examination as per the schedule. The timeline of when entrance exams are usually conducted in a year is given below:

Step 3: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences

Candidates who qualify in the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the Zakir Husain College seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill in their college and course preferences. There are various documents that the candidates should submit during the DU CSAS registration process such as -

  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Affidavit for Single Girl Child (if applicable)

  • A total of 5 certificates from the past 3 years, if applying through ECA category

Step 4: Seat Allocation

The seat allocation for all courses will be done in multiple rounds. Delhi University is going to release the merit lists in two categories: Common Merit List and Category 2 Merit List (for PG courses only). The Common Merit List (CML) is open to all candidates. However, for the Category 2 Merit List (C2ML), only students who have graduated from Delhi University will be considered for admission to PG programs. The Highest Possible Preference will be provisionally allocated to a candidate who meets the Zakir Husain College admission criteria such as:

  • Combination of selected college and course
  • Rank secured in the entrance exam
  • Availability of seats
  • Category of candidates

Step 5: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

Upon declaration of merit list, candidates can check the list by logging in to their CSAS dashboard for acceptance of the allocated seat, if offered. Once a seat has been allocated with Zakir Husain Delhi College in a particular round, the candidate must 'Accept' the allocated seat before the last date/time in a given time period. 

  • Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the college administration will approve the seat allotment by checking the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate. 
  • Upon approval of the seat allotment by the college, candidates will have to pay the Zakir Husain College admission fee to confirm their seat.

I only applied to one other college- Ambedkar University where I got rejected. I do not know what went wrong, but it might as well have been my CUET score which was not high enough. Currently, there is no knowledge of the eligibility criteria for my college. All that is known is that students must have a significantly high CUET score to enter UOD.

Zakir Husain College provides Undergraduate courses like B.A, B.Sc and B.Com. These are offered as both Honors and General courses. Zakir Husain College admissions 2023 to UG and PG programs will be based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores conducted by NTA. 

BA Psychology Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates need to pass their 10th and 12th class with 40 percent marks in total

Combination of subjects that BA Psychology candidates need to opt for the CUET are mentioned below:
