ZHDC Admission Process 2025

For the academic year 2025, Zakir Husain Delhi College (ZHDC) will only accept students who pass an entrance exam. Candidates must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) for all undergraduate (UG) courses, while CUET PG scores are used to determine admission to postgraduate (PG) programs. There is no provision for direct admission or merit-based entry; performance in these entrance exams is mandatory for all applicants.

The admission process begins with registration for the relevant entrance examination. Prospective students must first complete the CUET application form, providing necessary documents and paying the application fee. The CUET UG is typically held in May, and the CUET PG is conducted in March. After appearing for and qualifying in the entrance exam, candidates must register on the Delhi University Common Seat Allocation System (DU CSAS) portal. This portal is the centralized platform where students indicate their course and college preferences, including ZHDC.

Admission offers are made through a multi-round seat allocation process on the CSAS portal. Based on their preferences, admission exam results, and seat availability, candidates are assigned seats. Once a seat is allocated, the candidate must accept the offer within the stipulated time frame to secure their place at ZHDC. The process is entirely online and follows the guidelines and reservation policies set by Delhi University, including category-based seat reservations.

The CSAS portal application fee, which varies by category, must be paid at the time of registration. The application fee for undergraduate programs is INR 100 for SC/ST/PwBD applicants and INR 250 for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates. It is important for applicants to keep track of deadlines for each stage—exam registration, CSAS portal registration, and seat acceptance—to ensure a smooth admission process. All official notifications, registration links, and detailed instructions are regularly updated on the ZHDC and Delhi University websites.
