Likes
- I liked the diversity that was present in the college campus
- The student bodies there are active and provide help from time to time
- The size of our department is quite small so it is very convenient for most of the students to interact with the teachers
Dislikes
- Caste based dominant groups are present which give s a bad impact on the diverse people present
- The staff to student ratio is comparably low and and is sometimes cumbersome
- The unopened new campus which would be way more convenient for classes considering the growing student population
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum I took is okay considering the low placement percentage from the college's side which is I would say sometimes bad and good at the same time as the students can find their own way around such things. Faculty just complete the topics. we have to study ourselves.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure per yearly admission is quite okay considering all the other private colleges and institutions with my institutions par as most of them take about 1lakh per annum but besides having low yearly fee the examination fee, maintenance fee and all take up much more
Campus Life
The clubs and student societies are very active, with the teacher coordinator being very involved and helpful in whatever we do. from the college side, we receive very little help and our needs are often not fulfilled. As a result, we either have to contribute from our side or look for sponsors to organise the events we want to have.
Admission
I took this college because I got alloted on the basis only my marks I had higher placed colleges iny preferences but I got alloted in this one which is fine because the marks I got was in correspondence to my preparation for the entrance examination I gave. The admission process is quite ok
Faculty
The faculty members considering the teachers and the professor are quite good providing the required help and support from time to time but the examination curriculum is quite rushed with almost the whole semester with no assignments or projects but at the last moment everything is given at once which is hard for all the student s to manage along with their study at the same time and the examination timing is always held during the most extremes of seasons whether it be summer or winter
Night Life
Ik not sure as the college timing is only till 6 pm and after that it closes and almost all the students don't live near the vicinity of the college but even during daytime also it's quite hustle bustle type with very busy streets and people walking al around for their work as my college is near the telecom service india and the G20 summit building
