- Teachers are well experienced and supportive provides extra classes also.
- Envirnment is Safe with Guards Their you can attend classes upto 8pm.
- Fees is affordable you can spent your money in value added courses side by graduation.
Dislikes
- The Thing that i disliked the most was classes were held in old buildings built hundreds of year ago.
- Despite Having New building with modern facilities no classes are held there.
- Placement Drive is not conducted,Sometimes students need to struggle with getting their marks updated on portal.
Course Curriculum Overview
university of delhi have have started compulsory of courses such as VAC ,SEC and many other skill enhancement courses so that you not only rely upon your degree but you enhance your Interpersonal Skills , Communication Skills ,Speaking Skills as in future all jobs and placements are skill based not degree based so for enhanceing and developing a good personality these courses played a major role. The timings of examination were between 2,30-5,30 Pm 3 hours exam water facility was provided during the exam tenure. If in case you forgot to attend or submit your either of IA/CA you may get an essential repeat er even iof you pass in the written exam .
Fees and Financial Aid
I completed my Ba Programme from Zakir Hussain Delhi College Evening with Major In Political Science and minor in Economics.My Total fees for 3 years was Around 23,000rs which makes it affordable as compared to many other Colleges. The Teachers are Supportive and Expereinced,and college properly follows the Delhi University Cirriculum.I felt safe inside the campus security is good. The College provides Value added courses as well as Skill Enhancement Courses thats a great thing , One thing i personally felt was lack of strong placement opportunites for ba programme students another is classes are still held in the old building,while the new building has not opened since ample of years, im not aware of the exact reason but students do expect better infrastructure facilities.
Campus Life
Overall Campus is good but Sports activities such as cricket , badminton,volleyball are unorganised students have to bring their own equipments and play no support is thgere from college side,. Social groups and political parties are their it totally depoends on your choice wheather you join or not
Admission
I got PGDAV Colleg call from university of delhi but course was ba in physical education i didnt liked much about the course and applied for the second round in which i get zakir hussain delhin college both the colleges were approximately an hour away from my home and i choose this college in 2 round and didnt applied for the 3 as it was a lottery there would be chance you may get better or may not get a college call.
Faculty
Ive personally not intereacted much with college political parties or heads but The Teachers are supportive they will make you understand each end every concept clear and precise .There are 2 semester exams held in a year one semester includes your 7-8 exams in which one or two are your practical exams youve to submit assignments give viva IA CA And if you got to miss any of them you may get an er essential repeat .
Night Life
There is no such nightlife in college its an off-campus area , Location is good its 1.5Kms from New delhi railway station and nearer to delhi gate also one thing is if you travel just one station ahead to rajiv chowk you get to explore the beauty of delhi that is cp.During the Ipl seaason you can plan a cricket match with your buddy as arun jaitley stadium is just a 1 km away.
