- The college had a lively atmosphere with numerous events, clubs and activities. this provided plenty of opportunities for socializing and networking.
- Students were generally friendly and welcoming, making it easy to form friendships and study groups.
- Many professors had extensive industry experience and academic credentials, which enhanced discussions ana learing experience. faculty members were open to questions and provided valuable guidence on academic and careerc related matters.
Dislikes
- Core subjects were strong but elective subjects and interdisciplinery courses were limited. Some faculty members did not come on time and using outdated teaching methods.
- The girls to boys rattio was about 30:70. while this provided a good mix, it sometimes led to a lack of representation in certain activities.Sometime social groups could be exclusive, making it challenging for newcomers to integrate.
- Some facilities, particularly older buildings, required better maintenance and updates to ensure safety and comfort. internet access was occasionally unreliable, which impacted study and research efforts.
Course Curriculum Overview
* Rating the course curriculum: Relevence and Comprehensiveness In my experience, the course was pivotal in shaping my educational journey.If you want to do research in political science then go for it. *Preparation for Real-World Applications: Project based assesment helped me alot in this area.you can go guest lectures faculty, Assistant Professor and research associates. * Areas for Improvement: Several areas could be enhanced like-Expended electives courses for industrial growth of the student. -Interactive Teaching Methods like-hands-on workshops and group discussions. -Soft skills training like- leadership, negotiations and emotional intelligence for betterment in work place dynamics. -feedback mechanism like- formal channels for students feedback for improvement. Exam Frequency and Difficult Level: Exams varied in difficulty, with core courses often posing significant challenges.while some students found them daunting, many agreed they fairly managed.

SCHOLARSHIPS I got scholarship from MAULANA AZAD FOUNDATION called National Scholarship- this scholarship is only for girls, you just need to submit all your required documents to SDM office and attestation is important from principle of your college. It is based on merit.
Campus Life
* My overall experience in my college was excellent, after taking the classes we go on rounds in college mostly in rock garden where societies-like dance Society, Arts and culture society doing there practices for several events lik For freshers, events, fests, and farewells. Every year, there are many freshers party for each department, they conduct in auditorium with the help of seniors and teachers. Student took participation from various departmets. Fest happens occasionaly for festivals mainly. * Library- Library has many of the course books, novels previous year question papers and generals novels etc. You just need to do entry at the time of issuing the book with your i-card.You can issue 3 books on your i-card for 15 days after that you need to re-issue the book. * in some classrooms has Ac but not in every class. *Yes! there are sports room in upper of the canteen, specially for Table-Tennis and indoor games. *Impact- personality development.
Admission
*I applied for many colleges but got enrolled in Zakir Hussain because of distance from my home and also i research about infrastructure of this college it has vast facilities there. * No, I didn't get any rejection, i just wanted to do less travell. * At my time, i got admission through my merit percentage. for my course 92% required for morning and 85% for evening. i was eligible for eveing only. After getting admission, procedure was smooth, i just went to college and filled the form got help from seniors of my department, they were kind and helpfull in nature.Then along with admission form had to submit all the required documents- like your identity proof, all academic marksheets, fee reciept, category certificate(if applicable),migration certificate(if applicable).you need to sign all the documents and please carry all your original documents and copy as well.Your original documents will get submitted for verification and they returned it after some time,so dont worry about it.
Faculty
Faculty-to-Student Ratio * ratio: Approximately 1:15, which allows for personalized attention and support * Approachability: faculty members were generally approachable, encouraging students to ask questions and seek help outsides of class hours. Positive faculty experiences: * Dr. Islam: He teach us Political Theory,known for her polite behaviour with students. His ability to simplify compplex concepts made him a favourite among students. *Dr Shahla Tabassum: She teach us Puublic Administration, a very supportive and brillient teacher, highly respected for her deep knowledge and hand-on approach. she often engaging students in classroom through practices of speech and taught us how to do research on topics. *Dr. Shubhra: She was very dedicated and teach us Comparative Politics through her personalised notes. There are no professor who is going to be dislike by the student all are very good. Exam system-each semester has 4 core subjects and 1 elective, along with assignments.
