Course Curriculum Overview
Disciplined and Productive are two words in which I can describe the academics here. Lovely atmosphere and BA Economics means a deep dive study into the things which are probably taught in masters at Delhi School of Economics.
Placement Experience
Hdfc Bank,E&Y, Accenture and various other companies wants economist as their consultants. Ofcourse students of our course are offered junior consultant roles but being a consultant in such firms itself is a novelty. KMC helps in providing placements and that too to most as students can easily roam inside the campus without signs of worry of placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
14000 is our fees for the year and it's the general fees. Scholarships are awarded and for them the fees becomes quite less or zero in some cases. Our of various scholarships and awards, KMC provides Hana Award to topper of each year and those students entire fees is waived off.
Campus Life
Our society fest is Desire and colleges annual cultural fest is Renaissance. Ashoka lawn is the highlight of infrastructure and the iconic or picturesque central building can be called a bigger highlight. Two canteens as one is boys hostel canteen and one is common for all. Walking distance from Vishwavidyalaya metro station and sports facilities are also quite good at KMC.
Admission
A topper will always apply for top college and therefore KMC was the one. 735-745 was cut-off for our course and mine was exactly between the highest and lowest median. Centralised admission through NSP portal and DU admission process is as robust as anything.
Faculty
Not just highly experienced but highly qualified too is what describes Kirori Mal Faculties the best. For them students had to learn how to win in life then how to win papers. If one wants to be curious always then Kirori Mal College professors are the best as they are one of the best philosophers and thinkers.
Night Life
The campus has a gymnasium and two of the top malls of Delhi be it DLF Mall or Spark mall both are close to the campus. There's a boys hostel inside the campus and curfew time for it is 10pm. Teo Lounge and Bar is arguably the best hang out place close to the campus.
