Entrance Preview

The admission was based on merit. No interview or exam was held .The interest for my subject is enough answer.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good. It provided us with all the knowledge required and emphasis is laid on practical learning. Elective is Economics Entrepreneurship small business. The college will give another degree of the elective as well

Internships Opportunities

The college did not provide any internship. We have to find internships on our own.

College Events

Our fests are the best with a lot of crowd and cool performances. the du fests are held in january where celebrities are invited. The societies of every college performs here and overall its fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is quite affordable, the college being a government institute. It is 9680 INR

No scholarship is provided by the college. No loan was needed since its very affordable.

Hostel Facilities

No such hostel is available from the college side. I am living in a pg nearby and food is satisfactory, not too good. I pay 15000 every month.

Alumni/Alumna

No such interaction with the alumni and the college also didn't provide us with any platform for the same.

Exam Structure

Yes exams are held every week called internals which are very tiring and obviously its not a chill culture.

Faculty

Faculty of our college is very learned and most of them are PhD scholars. The course curriculum is designed by the university and that's not great but teachers try their best to cope up with it and keep every student stays on the same page. Some faculty members are also from the outside and they come for a lecture or two.

Reality Check

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

I really don't like the curriculum , the syllabus should be updated as per real life situations . And I feel like more no. Of lectures should be alloted to understand the concepts really better . There should be some real life based and AI in the syllabus

MY COLLEGE - HEAVEN AND HELL

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit

Great place to earn knowledge!!

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college. Gargi College defines greatness!

CUET is the best thing that has happened as otherwise when it was on percentage basis our college cut-offs were 96 percent minimum. Luckily now the benchmark is set on 90 and rest all on CUET score. Gari College has given endless memories!!

I obviously like every girl in India wanted LSR but 790 was the cut-off for LSR and for Gargi it was 772. I missed my mark by 6 numbers or percentile or else I would have been reviewing LSR currently. However, Gargi too is above rest of the Girls Colleges of Delhi and if not the best second best also works because it's almost the end of my course and I have no complaints whatsoever....Read More
