Great place to earn knowledge!!

The mechanism of B.Com is different as in other courses, it's all theory. However, we do have practical subjects and also internship are also a part of our curriculum. So much to explore as a Commerce student and our course and college both has helped us in exploring that to the hill. Hence, changes are not required but some breaks will surely help.

Internships are provided but not of some more. As Big 4 asks for just 6-8 interns every semester and for that nearly 80% of students apply. So, for those who get it are paid 20k plus the allowances as well.

Many banks and accounting firms and Big 4 which have become potent when it comes to placements are the ones who offers placements. The best part is that post Covid, the inflation has gone up and so are the basic salary norms too as all studenys are offered in the range of 5-7 lakhs annually.

Tuition Fees for our course is 18000. The other break up for the fees adds up another 4500 or so and that becomes 22500 for a year. Since it's a B.Com program so just three years and we get degree for B.Com ar just 70k or less. For SC/ST students 50% scholarships on tuition fees and hence they pay including all 13-14k a year.

Gargi College campus is clean and most importantly the heritage buildings of the college has been restored since it's inception. While many colleges have developed the interior our college on the other hand has ensured that both are in place. Our societies like film making and photography have won many awards at National level and our fest Reverie is also a notable fest among DU colleges.

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college. LSR was far fetched and the next best girls college is definitely Gargi and thus I took the admission here. 760-775 is the cut-off for B.Com program at Gargi.

Faculties here are the groomers as it's a complete different approach from them. Just like this year's LSG IPL team they experiment something different and more often than not it pays off. I have seen students of our college go outside the college and kills it. All these have become possible as faculties here are dynamic and their approach is same too.

Look Gargi's location is far from both South and North Campus. However for night life, we have certain places and cafes. Rico and Banana Cafe are chill zones whill Z2000 gaming arcade of Ansal Plaza is a complete fun zone.
