Lakshmibai College is a constituent college of Delhi University. The college has several departments, like Commerce, Economics, English, Hindi, Mathematics, Home Science, History, etc under which several UG and PG courses are offered. Few add-on courses like Certificate and Diploma courses are also offered by the college in several specialisations, such as, Foreign Languages, Machine Learning, Vedic Mathematics and Women & Legal Literacy, etc.
Established in 1965 and named after the fearless patriot Rani Lakshmibai, the college focuses on providing higher education to several women students. Lakshmibai College is managed by Govt. of Delhi and affiliated with the University of Delhi. It is an AICTE-approved and UGC-recognized college. The faculty team of Lakshmibai College is highly committed to their teaching job. They contribute a lot of time in providing academic guidance to the students and improving their educational competencies. Their teaching approaches are not restricted to bookish knowledge only.
Apart from the magnificent red brick building, Lakshmibai College also has a clean, lush green campus with numerous trees and flowering plants spread across the lawns. The college provides sports grounds, staff accommodation, wireless internet connection through the University-Wide Networking Programme, automated conventional library with Libsys software and many other facilities. Students are entitled to publish write-ups in Hindi, English, Sanskrit and Punjabi for the annual college magazine. The ug admission process at Delhi university is based on CUET , we have to give cuet exam then delhi University opens it's csas portal and we then make the preference list then the university releases it's cut off list and according to the marks of cuet exam , they allot the college . I got lakshmibai in second round and I was happy because it's a good college and I'm grateful to be here.

Admission process is very complicated specially for students living further away. Alot of my friends living away had issues. But my college is pretty satisfactory. I wanted to make it to St. Stephens but that wasnt possible because of lesser marks.

I have applied for all the du colleges and i choose this because it is in the north campus and the area around the college is very nice . Also a girls college is safe for me as compared to co ed colleges Admission process is to give cuet and then apply to du through csas portal and then be a part of the Admission process.

I got admission in Janki devi college and but the course was not of my choice. So got into this college. I heard that our college comes second in sports in all over du. And yeah it was close to my house so i chose this college.

To get into this college one needs to clear CUET UG. The cutoffs are really high. Other than that if one is good in sports she can apply through sports quota. Certain amounts of trials are taken and if one clears all the trials she gets selected. Obviously, reservations are provided for certain categories of students.

I was allotted this college on the based of my preferences filled after the CUET Exam. Students willing to take part have to first give CUET then after releasing of its score, you need to apply for the seat allocation program and marks your preferences. I took admission before cuet was announced so it was totally based on merit and i belonged to general category so i was able to clear the 1 cut off as girls were given 1% extra to take admission and i took this college as it really had a good environment.

The eligibility of this course is by qualifying the CUET test which is conducted by approval of government institution of University of Delhi. It has questions of general awareness and aptitude, maths and the subject studied in class 12th board.

The course was available but there were too many students at first then 20-25 droppped the course Through cuet registerstion on the Basis of our marks scored...but the process is difficult for the people Who doesn't have proper knowledge about online system

LBC do not provide any hostel facilities to students.
