A college where dreams turn into reality

My course of political science is really relevant in the contemporary world as every individual is a political animal. We are surrounded by politics, laws, rules, bureaucrats, diplomats, international relations. All these topics are greatly discussed in the class. In our class, if a new bill or law is passed we always have a discussion trying to state our rational statements forward as a responsible person.

The internship roles are really diversified. Recently an internship opportunity of being the vice chancellor of DU was given to us. The placement cell informed us and even trained few students from the personal interview round.

College placement cell prayas is really active. As the name suggests their hussle to get good internships and good college placements begins at our development stage. Internships are offered every semester which from fifth semester onwards we start getting placement calls along with a upward sloping graph.

The fee structure is very affordable as it is a government funded college. Yearly we have to pay a basic sum of 25000 excluding exam fees which is taken from us semester wise. The fee structure is not the same for everyone, it varies as per to the categories and financial conditions of the family. Our college internally also provides aid for students who are not very financially strong. This helps them move ahead without dropping out from the careers.

Every year in our college we have our annual fest along with fests of various societies and department. So around February our college is a complete vibe with lights glowing and music throbbing and young minds dancing and relaxing. The college library is really good, they cover books for research writing to good novels. Alongside with have an e-library where lakhs of material is just a click away. All the facilities provided in the college are student friendly and accomodative. Every society in the college gives us a lesson to learn and shapes our personality.

The college was my first preference due to its prime location and also because of the course which I was willing to do was ranked to be great here. The admission process is similar to the other central university, they also follow the CUET pattern. And I have no regrets in life after getting here.

The college faculty is really knowledgeable experienced and helpful. They are approachable and understand our concerns. The decisions taken by them is mostly taken with our agreement. They never overburden us with work. Tests are taken regularly to evaluate our understanding of the topic. The sessions are really interactive and based on discussions rather than rot learning

Our college is a regular day college so usually gates closes around 5 in the evening so not very aware of the night life around college. But once stayed there till 7 for the feats and the college was shining like stars on the sky with the fairy lights. So from my little experience the night life is good. Sadly we don't have a hostel hence can't give a concrete experience.
