- Mata Sundari College is run by Khalsa Community and everyone is treated equal here.
- We also have a Gurudwara in our college and also langar is organized every month.
- It's a girls college and there's no dress code as we have full freedom in whatever we want to wear.
Dislikes
- Poor placements have made it a bottom ranked women's college.
- Also, our college academic blocks doesn't have air-conditioners which most of the DU colleges now have it.
Course Curriculum Overview
If one has to rank top three DU courses, Political Science Hons is there and that was an influencing point for me to take this course. From local politics to national politics to Geo Politics, everything is there in our course.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am a student of mata sundri college for women admitted under sports quota. I am in second year of ny course i have paid 24000 approx in my first year and for my second year i have paid something 26000 for my second year. There are soo many scholarships my college provide and have more quotas like sc, st , and sikh minority.
Campus Life
MSCW is one of the best in infrastructure as even though small but cleanliness is fully there. Washrooms, classrooms, auditorium and all are in best state. ACs though are just in few and the four floor building doesn't even have the lift. Our annual fest Saarang have DJs and all and last year onwards tech competitions too have been started during the event.
Admission
CUET is a top level entrance and DU too a top level university and most colleges under it are among the top. I also wanted the best women's college of DU and that is LSR but with a score of 430 out of 800, only a few colleges were available and Mata Sundari was one of those. However, since I got the desired cpirs I took admission here otherwise I had confirmed admission at SXC Kolkata.
Faculty
Our college may be lower in terms of ranking but we have top ranked faculties in our college. Most faculties also have provided us research materials of theirs as some students or rayher most quit after 3rd year as none of them opt for the 4th year and this is where our faculties have done a fantastic job in making students realising the importance of finishing the research year.
Night Life
From cozy cafes to dining options there are almost everything close to our college. Even Parks like Central Park and Green Meadows are nearby and then cafes such as Trivenr Terrace Cafe and Open House Cafe are also top quality cafe to spend time at.
