Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is mainly based on economics. And economics is one thing whose principles are almost always applicable in real time. So yea speaking of the relevance of the course then yes it is relevant enough. I myself have seen and applied various economic concepts in reality. The areas for improvement could be more emphasis on teaching it in indian context so that the models are more suited for the country itself. However one thing i must say is that exams are indeed really tough. So its better to maintain a steady pace of studying

Internships Opportunities

2

The internships that are generally offered in our college comes from respectable companies Like Bain and DeShaw. Even some from the nation with NaMo internships. There are also case comps that provide pre placement opportunities for companies like HSBC and Bain.

Placement Experience

3

From semester 5th students become eligible for placements. In fact they are still going on right now. Major companies that i know off which usually visit our college are Bain, DeShaw, Delloite etc. So yea majorly consultancy firms. The highest package as of now in our batch is roughly around 18LPA it could go higher maybe in the near future as the placements are still active. The percentage of students as per my knowledge is around 50% while the placements are still undergoing.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is such that for our course. You'd have to pay 25'000 rupees per semester which makes it 50,000 roughly on annual basis. As for scholarships we do have a scheme called raj bhairgav scholarships which do provide a considerable amount to the students who pass their exam and become eligible

Campus Life

4

This years annual function the MECCA the trademark of hindu college was canceled due to some unforseen circumstances which was quite disheartening. But the diwali mela Suruchi went well. The books and journals are usually easily available in library. Classrooms are clean and well maintained. Sports complex is active but not that much for the general students. There's a student run club/group in our college that takes care of the stray dogs within the college premise which is quite noble act.

Admission

I applied for other colleges such a st. Stephen's and ramjas college which are also situated in north campus. The one reason i chose this college over Stephen's because of the strict environment of that college which feels kinda constricting. I couldn't make it to the cut off of the SRCC so yea it could be said i got rejected from there in a sense. The admission process is only possible through meeting up the cut off by giving CUET UG examinations

Faculty

3

Faculty members are one of the most likeable thing i have about my college especially our department. Some teachers are highly qualified scholars with years of experience. They are easily approachable and they also provide guidance beyond the course itself. One of my favorite professors are archana aggarwal mam. As the way she explains complex subjects and always has something more to tell about it is quite astounding. The only Faculty i kind of didn't like that much was Chandan Singha sir mainly because his personality was kind of insufferable. We have end semester exams at the end of each semester which are quite tough. Other then that throughout the semester we are posed with internal assessments and continuous assessments

Night Life

3

The gyms are available inside the sports complex of college campus but they aren't accessible as per college policies. Cafeteria is good with good food at affordable prices. Library is recently developed to a really respectable level. Boys hostel however is still under construction. One the most famous hangout spots around our campus is the Sudama Chai stall. The locality is pretty much safe in general during night time but there are occasionally crime cases that do happen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The paper has a direct influence on my future competitive examination and job.. The teaching method and course curriculum should be improved. There are unnecessary materials that has to be bought by the students which are not even helpful The timetable is not so friendly while you have a class at 8:30 then spend the whole day and take the second class at 3:30..

My Economics syllabus and the professor is amazing. They explain everything in detail and they are really very open to criticism as well The exam level is actually medium. Since, our professors prepare us in attempting them easily. Practice sessions are worth devoting time in.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like any other course this course too has its pros and cons. It is very different from the fictional or non-fictional books you read. One must have an interest for English language as it has no grammar. It's just the language portion that will be taught.
