Remarks

The cutoff for opting for the course was 95%. My 12th grade marks were 95, so I was able to get into the college of my choice. The application can be found on Google easily. I do not have any reservations.

I am from a commerce background, hence I found this course interesting. So, for every 20 students, there is one faculty member. The faculty here is highly qualified and experienced. Exams were conducted on time.

Students become eligible for college placements beginning in the fifth semester, when various companies visit the college and offer attractive packages to students. Approximately 95% of the students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as I know, there is no such policy of fee hiking. It almost takes four to five lakh, which includes the college fees and hostel and mess fees, to complete the degree. The PMSSS scheme allowed me to take admission to the college.

Campus Life

Zakir Husain Memorial Lecture, Delhi College Lecture Series, Convocation, Annual Day, Bhisham Sahni Book Fair are some of the festival which are held in the college every year. No such importance is given to sports in our college.

Hostel Facilities

In this kind of accommodation, students have access to a TV room, an aqua guard for hot, cold, and normal drinking water, and other leisure or sports activities within the hostel premises. also includes the following facilities: 24x7 Wi-Fi connectivity is provided in all hostels. CCTV cameras are installed at the entrances to all hostels and the campus foyer. There is 24x7 electricity and water supply in all the hostels. Night cafeterias up to 1.00 AM Solar panels installed in all hostels for hot water Caretakers and housekeeping services are provided in all hostels during the day and night. The bike farm is inside the campus for the students to buy and service their bicycles. A scaled down version of the gym in all hostels

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Placements of my college is quite ok, specially in my course the placement is good.Major students get placed. Big Companies visited our campus for placements- EY, Deloitte,Kpmg. Highest package of our college last year was 21 lakhs.

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements I am not sure about the number of offers made but last year Deloitte visited the campus for recruitment. Highest package is around 11lpa plz check on Google. And average is around 5-6 lpa. Seniors told me around 30-40% of the batch gets placement. My plan is to do mba after college

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

Placement Experience:

Final year students(5th semester) are eligible for the placements, many famous company recruits, like Deloitte, flipkart,amazon and there's many local companies as well. The highest pakage in 2024 was 24LPA. 20-30% students gets the placement as most of the students opt for Higher studies or get into competitive exams. The jobs offered are based on your course.

Life in Zakir Hussain Delhi College (Evening)

*I applied for many colleges but got enrolled in Zakir Hussain because of distance from my home and also i research about infrastructure of this college it has vast facilities there. * No, I didn't get any rejection, i just wanted to do less travell. * At my time, i got admission through my merit percentage. for my course 92% required for morning and 85% for evening. i was eligible for eveing only. After getting admission, procedure was smooth, i just went to college and filled the form got help from seniors of my department, they were kind and helpfull in nature.Then along with admission form had to submit all the required documents- like your identity proof, all academic marksheets, fee reciept, category certificate(if applicable),migration certificate(if applicable).you need to sign all the documents and please carry all your original documents and copy as well.Your original documents will get submitted for verification and they returned it after some time,so dont worry about it....Read More
