Likes
- I liked that my college faculties is really good and helpful they take interest in students life and guide properly. The teaching is also really good. For every thing there is proper rules and regulations. Academic wise the college is great.
- The infrastructure including the classes the auditorium and a three floor library is good because the college is not very old.
Dislikes
- Since the college is off campus many students of DU are unaware of this college.
- Since the college is a science college the crowd is not very specific of commerce or management stream.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course was Bachelors of Management Studies. As this course is said to be a professional course i don't feel it a lot different from b com hons as the subjects were same in both the course only the change was in semesters yet the chapters were different for both the course. Overall i liked the course.
Placement Experience
The placement cell are still working on themselves to bring more and better opportunities. Students got placed if they really wanted to. Most of the students pursue for higher studies or jobs off campus or placement for future.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for my course BMS was around 22000 per annum for the three years each. Also financial aid was provided to the students who applied for it. They were asked the reason the income certificate of family and more such stuffs and whoever was in need really got a fee reduction of almost 7000 to 8000.
Campus Life
My overall campus life was good. As the college is in DU one automatically gets many opportunities to explore the college life my visiting other colleges of DU. The college has almost every society and club which is common in different colleges. Enactus tedx marketing society finance society etc. The only drawback is that the college is off campus thus many students of other du colleges are unaware about the shaheed rajguru college. Yet people are getting to know about the college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel will charge somewhere around 90000 for 1 year term. The food is good the rooms are also okay bathroom needs to be more maintained. The water which comes in the tap is salt water which is common in all the colleges of du. The rooms are good all rooms had balcony the rooms were mostly of 2 beds or some of 3 beds you have to apply online for the hostel
Admission
When i applied for this course the entrance was through dujat as of now the admission is from cuet so i don't know the exact process. Yet the process was not any difficult and common and same as it is of other colleges.
Faculty
All the teachers are good since all are phd professionals. Many teachers from our college got promoted to SRCC and FMS. Even teachers of science course are also very good and knowledgeable. Academic wise the college is great
