Course Curriculum Overview
I had commerce in 11th and 12th. And my interest aligned with business so i chose BBA. The curriculum does not prepare you fully for real world as the course is more theory based instead of practical learning some areas of improvement in the course include the theory portion. The course can have less theory and more practical as business is something that can be understood by only practical knowledge. Some teaching methods I feel that can be effective include group discussions and instead of normal and boring PPT readings teachers should divide us into groups and give us topic so that we can discuss on them and we can present those topics in the class. This can enhance our public speaking and understanding of the topic better. This can also help us to prepare for our exams in a much better way as the concepts would be crystal clear. The frequency of exam is like they have one internal exam and after one month of that internal exam, they have the external exam of University. The difficulty level is quite easy, and if you just study once you can easily clear the exams.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities college. The companies that come in our college are basically small companies, but they offer a good Internship like there are companies like the education tree and they offer internship in the fields of content creation, writing marketing
Placement Experience
The placement in my college for my course BBA pretty good. The college is also Offers internship opportunities. We can expect an average package of around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum for BBA. The students become eligible for campus placements from fourth semester onward. Some of the companies that have visited our colleges include KPMG Deloitte. The education tree, the highest package that someone got from our college was of around 60 lakhs and the profile offered to him was in finance. The percentage of students getting placements are around 8290%. My plans after getting this degree includes to do a post graduation in the fields of business only and then get
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure for BBA is around 155000 every year for 2 semesters. Yes our college provides various scholarships based in merit and reservations. Scholarships include: Merit-cum-Means Scholarship(GGSIPU) EWS fee's wavier-for students with family income besides the prescribed limit. Campus Life
The overall experience of my college is pretty good as my college is pretty chill in attendance and hence you can just maintain 40% attendance while doing your internships or other things like other side courses. The campus life is also very great as the campus is quite big and you can roam around the campus. However, the location of my college is pretty bad so you do not have anything near the college to go to and hang out too, but the campus and itself is pretty big and you can just be there in the campus and enjoy your campus life. They are the first scene is like colleges have several society fest and one annual fest and the fest are amazing
Admission
I applied to several colleges that include Dtu that is Delhi technological University and DU Delhi University. I got accepted in Dtu for the course BBA and I chose MAIMS GGSIP for BBA instead of Dtu because Dtu was very far away from my home and each lecture IN Dtu was of two so it was quite impossible for me to take it, and the lectures were also very boring. The attendance and Dtu was also very strict. We need to maintain a minimum of 80% attendance in Dtu in order to be able to give exams and not get the bar, but whereas in Maims, the attendance seen pretty chill and Maims is also near to my home as compared to Dtu NDU, I got admitted to Keshav Mahavidyalaya for the course of mathematical sciences and I didn't choose that college because that course was irrelevant for me. I selected it by mistake. No, I didn't get a rejection from other colleges that I applied. I got accepted and all, and still I chose names because Memes was the best decision I feel as it was quite near to my home and attendance scene is also pretty chill when filling for DUI actually made my preference list in a different order due to which the colleges that I wanted were cancelled out and hence I was not able to fill those colleges, so the admission process of my college is pretty simple. Three exams are accepted for my college. Either you can give the CETIP exam and you can get good marks in it to get admission or you can get admission through your CUET score a good CET score around 400 out of 600 marks is appreciable and also you can get admission in the management. Kota through your board marks.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 6:60.The faculty to student relationship is pretty good. Its formal but the faculties are nice and incase of doubts one can message them. Our class coordinator is pretty supportive and she helps the students alot. Some of the faculties i liked are Dr. Ekta Dargan ma'am. She teaches really well and makes hard concepts easy. Shes quite approachable too. Dr. Shipee also teaches pretty well and i like her because her classes are pretty interactive and intersting. Instead of boring ppt reading she actually explaind the concept pretty well. There is no such specific faculty that i dont like but yes our HOD Dr.Manoj Verma is pretty strict however he teachers pretty well. The college holds one internal examination along with 2 assignment submission per subject. Internals are of 40 marks and then the university conducts externals which are of 60 marks.Difficulty level of exams id moderate. 1 out 15 students fail to clear these exams. The course curriculum is pretty old and traditional. Its relevant but a lot of theory is there
Night Life
The people who live in hostel are not allowed to walk in the campus at night as there are certain hostel rules and the college Offers hostel facilities for only boys and for girls, there is a PG near the college that is also offered by
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi Technological University - [DTU] | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]
