- Faculty and staff are very good. annual fests amd all are very well, teachers and staff are very supportive and also best roi in all ipu colleges.
- The aveage package is around 8 lac per annum .lots of compaines come for the placements and offer a nice package ,in fact this year goggle is also come for hiring and offer a nice package.

The admissions to Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology are based on the candidate's merit in JEE Mains followed by counselling. Candidates must have an aggregate score of 55% in 10+2. - Laboratories- The institute has equipped laboratories for each department with all necessary facilities which are required for an excellent practical environment. The six networked computer labs cover a wide range of Computer Science and IT subjects, including Software Engineering, Network Technology, Mobile Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Computer Graphics, Compiler Construction, Algorithm Analysis and Design, Interface Programming, Data Structure, DBMS, and Object Oriented Programming. Software such as Visual Studio,.Net 2003, Auto Cad 2004, MS Office Professional 2003, Oracle 9i, TASM, Orcad, and Windows XP are licensed and available in all labs.
- Library- The library has a fully computerized library with a variety of books to enhance the knowledge and skills of the students. The library has a huge collection of books and journals on education, computer science, pharmacy, science, and humanities. The library also has a Research Wing for scholars.
- Hostel- The institute provides hostel facilities to around 200 male candidates and 100 female candidates. Hygienic food and water facilities are available in the four-storeyed building of the hostel.
- Sports- The institute provides playgrounds to the students for various outdoor games such as football, volleyball, cricket, badminton, etc. It also provides indoor game facilities such as campus, table tennis, chess, etc.

I choosed this college because this was the best colllege thaat i was getting at my jee rank and also the veragge package is preety good and also its the best ipu college for btech so all these factors played a big roll for me to choose this college The admission process was okay but kind of confusing I didnt apply to any other college, no The exams accepted for btech was jee mains and i got 137k rank

- Seniors are helpful and will not judge you and very chill

- The boys to girls ration is very low as it will be somewhere around 10:3
- Some faculty members are very arrogant and do not care whether you get exposure and placements or not.

I wanted to take admission in the prestigious Government Colleges of Delhi like NSUT, DTU, IIIT Delhi but I could not score up to the mark to get the desired branch in it. Hence I had to choose MSIT for getting the desired branch and make a career in it. The admission process of MSIT is through the JEE Mains and IP university counselling for B.Tech from which based on the Home State quota I got the Information Technology Branch in MSIT and I approved it.

Apart Form This Collage I Have Applied For Btech In Jss Noida In Computer Science Branch. I Got Selected For The Collage But I Didn'T Join The Collage Becuase The Placement Stats Of Msit For Far Better Than Jss Noida And Apart From the Placement Rest Everything Was Similiar Of Jss Noida And Msit Delhi . S Admission In Msit Can Be By Two Ways . One Is Your Jee Mains Rank And Second One Is Management Quota. Management Quota Is Decided In Terms Of Your Board Percentage . The Cutoff Threough Jee Mains Is 2Lalh Rank For It Branch For General Category.

I got admission earlier in BVCOE in EEE department but I chose to go in MSIT because of a better placement opportunity here. The admission process is simple. You have to give JEE MAINS exam and score decent over there and then you apply in the GGSIPU portal which then selects you as per the criteria and offers you the admission. If you manage to get a rank under 150000-200000.

I APPLIED FOR MANY COLLAGE INCLUDING BITS AND JOSSA COUNCLINF ALONG WITH THAPPAR AND CHITKARA. BUT THIS COLLAGE IS THE BEST AFTER BITS .THIS IS GOOD BECAUSE THERE IS LESS COMPETITION AND DELHI BEING THE CAPITAL CITY OF THE COUNTRY WILL PROVIDE US GREAT EXPOSURE TO OUTSIDE WORLD .THIS COLLAGE IS ALSO SITUATED IN A GOOD AREA.THE ADDMISION PROCESS OF THIS COLLAGE IS NOT AT ALL COMPLEX WE HAVE TO FIRST REGIESOR ON THE GGSIPU SITE WITH THE REFERENCE OF JEE MAINS MARKS AND WE CAN GET A CONFIRMED SEAT.

- Another applaudable keypoint of this college is that the faculties of this college are really helpful and hardworking.They personally take care of academics of every student and they all work together for the placements of the students.

- The infrastructure of this college is very disappointing and old fashioned.It gives you the feeling that you are still in a school not in a college.
- The faculties and good and hardworking but they are not worki on skill devel of the students.They still believe in old school studies.Just learn what they say and write the same in exam one will easily get marks and the rest of skills kill.

One of the major reason of me choosing this college is the location and exposure this college providesI.I tried and expected to get the addmission in the main campus of ipu(USICT) but I managed to get addmission in this college.However I could easily opt for Bhartiya Vidhyapeeth college too but I have choosen MSIT over Bhartiya Vidhyapeeth college due to placements and location of this college.Also the reason of me choosing MSIT over Bhartiya Vidhyapeeth college is the availability of boys hostel.I really wished to get addmission in USICT due to it's college life and placements.But MSIT filled all the voids.I have no regrets on coming in this college.

placement is the core reason for chossing this college over other ipu college the average package of this college is 5 to 13 lack based upon the performance and skill you get from education platform . campus location is in ajanakpuri east which is best among all ipu college plus college environment is coder friendly you have to take and graps opprtunties as they came in youe way and college oraganizes feast but you have focus on base core subject like os sql dbms java coding and c++ upskilling and placement faculty is also encouraging student to take part onn the regular competion held inside the campus to promote and develop coding mindset to develop new skills and experience. Internship is mandatory for 6 th semester onward student

Our college takes admission from JEE MAIN exam , I had applied for mainly MSIT because it has two shifts morning and evening.In the evening shift we sometimes get free by 12 pm , but the classes usually take place upto 2:30 pm . Other than MSIT I had opted for USICT and MAIT , USICT is government college and both MAIT and MSIT are equal.One can get cse, it if they have percentile around 94-95 for Cse , 90-94 for IT , for ece you can get here at around 85 , and eee even below 80 .

How will Maharaja Surajmal Institute be in the coming 4 years?
I have a friend who is an alumnus of MSIT and here’s what he had to say about this.
Faculty: There is a significant decline in terms of management and teaching. The faculty members are mostly doctorate students and they are pursuing their studies as well as teaching, so it is fair to say that they teach you with no sense of belonging.
Infrastructure: Most of the campuses are growing old and there is hardly any maintenance done. They started upgrading a few years back but the development is very slow. Labs are not equipped with the necessary equipment.
Placements: MSIT has a good placement record. There is every likelihood that the prospects for placement may dry in the future years, as the quality of education stays stagnant. The average CTC offered has remained the same since 2004. Here are the recent placement highlights.

Do CSE students in MSIT get enough free time to do extracurricular work like coding and other projects?
A friend of mine from school used to be a student of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology (MSIT) and he and his classmates had to do some serious time management. Well, it’s something all of us have to learn anyway. The answer to this question depends on perspectives. These may vary from person to person.
- You will have to make time. The institute will not provide you with time.
- The institute will serve as a motivation or just to provide exposure but you will always be the one to manage your time.
- The faculty of MSIT will gauge your academic performance on how regular you are with attending your classes and the final score at the end of your session.
- All the professors in the department CS and IT encourage the students to take part in a number of competitions like coding, hackathons, etc. This is also a way to learn the skill of management of time.
Towards the end of the semester, you will be engaged in preparation for the examinations so time management may get tricky as well as difficult.

For admission into UG programs, the college selects students via their JEE Mains Paper 1 performance. For lateral entry into a B.Tech course after completion of B.Sc degree, candidates need to appear for the IPU CET Examination. For entry into Applied Sciences, candidates must qualify IPU CET. Applied science courses available are in Physics, Chemistry, Workshop and Mathematics. Candidates to be selected via CET are then referred to an offline counselling session where admission is done on the basis of merit. 85% of the sanctioned intake is reserved for Delhi Region candidates, with 7.5% of it reserved for Scheduled Tribe. The Institute has an active placement cell that invites recruiters and encourages stduents to take up industry trainings.
