- The campus is small and there isnt much to explore in the whole campus which is kinda boring
- The lifts are not good and you will have to climb many stairs and also the classes condition are not good

- Some faculty members are very arrogant and do not care whether you get exposure and placements or not.

Can I get ECE/CSE in MSIT with a rank of 6800 in the sliding round?
My elder sister joined the CSE program in 2019. Her rank was better, but with your rank, you cannot get CSE in the sliding round but you can definitely get into the ECE program with ease.
I presume you're from the Delhi state quota because only then you'll get into the ECE program at MSIT with ease in the 3rd sliding round; but, it's not possible to get into CSE, not even in the spot round.
As for IT, I am not really sure whether you'll get it. Even if you do, it'll be the evening shift; morning seems impossible though you can still try your luck in the spot round.
Can I get a CSE (1st shift) at MAIT/MSIT in a 1953 rank?
Yes, with a rank of 1953 you can get a CSE seat in both MAIT and MSIT, in the first shift itself. The points below provide a brief overview of your chances to get a seat with the specified rank, along with the requirement of counseling.
- In MAIT, there is a little less chance of getting a seat in the first shift. But, with such a rank you have a good enough chance of getting one at the spot counseling rounds.
- If you get a seat in CSE in either of the two institutes, you should book it as soon as it is offered, even if it is in the evening shift.
- There are several misconceptions about the second shift being of lesser value, which is not the actual case.
- There are almost equal amounts of job opportunities. You should be patient until the spot counseling.
- Meanwhile, you can also take admission in IT at either of the two institutes, which is a safe option.
- For students from Delhi, there are good enough chances for getting the IT seat, but for students from other states, it is usually difficult in online counseling.
Therefore, there are good chances for you to get a CSE first shift seat in the spot counseling rounds.
