THE HOSTEL OF THIS COLLAGE IS VERY SMALL .54 STUDENTS OF FIRST YEAR (DOUBLE SHARING ROOM ) ,54 STUDENTS OF 2ND YEAR AND 2O STUDENTS OF 3 AND 4TH YEAR CAN GET ACCOMODATED IN THE BOYS HOSTEL OF THIS COLLAGE .THERE ARE NO CLEANING FACILITY IN ROOMS,NO COMMON FRIDGE,NO LAUNDRY FACILITES .BUT THESE THING LOOKS LIKE A BURDEN FOR A CERTAIN TIME AFTER THAT LIFE LOOKS LIKE FUN . RGISTRATION IS VERY IMPORTANT .THIS HOSTEL WORK ON THE PRINCIPLE OF COME FIRST AND GET SEVERVED. Two room sharing cost you 44000 each person one comman bathroom and with wifi facilities and proper vantilated room . single room cost you 66000 but now its increase by 20 % and food mess is decent and worker here are helpful kind and repected and do their jobs properly . meal is good niether too bad neither too good cost 105 rs percent costing you 3150 rs for one month and registration process and document verification is done by hostel warden and hostel incharge in late night inspection is done no ragging scene and locality of hostel is inside the premise of campus and no student are allow to enter in the college after the college period is over and only hostler are allow to stay . mess id 3 time a day one morning one afternoon and aone night plus menu can be adjusted to student prefrence and meal according to their demand and supply

A balanced campus life

Likes

Hostel life is fantastic. After college hours, the entire campus is open for residents, making it a memorable experience you'll cherish for years. The friends you make in the hostel will become some of your closest companions.

Dislikes

There is only one canteen, which lacks a seating area and functions more like a shop with a limited selection of food items.

I opted for hostels because I was an outside Delhi student, there aren't many seats available, so hostels tend to prioritise students from outside Delhi. The registration process is easy and takes few hours only . Each room can accommodate 2 students and students can opt for single room they have too pay more for that, corridors and bathrooms cleaned. Mess is on the ground floor, I heard ingenral mess food are bad but not this one , the food is decent, with weekly rotation of dishes. Annual hostel fees is Rs. 65,000 in the for an year at the time I joined, the hostel is located inside the campus , so after the college shift ends after 4 whole whole college is for hoteliers, and trust me taking hostel is the best decision of your life , hostel life will give you friends for life and memories to remember for life.

Two tables, two chairs are provided in every room There are windows in each room and almirah are given one to each person.. the room has two persons accommodation. Talking about the facilities they don't provide you with neither ac nor cooler. you can buy cooler yourself and have to pay electricity charges for the cooler, this year it is 1240 i guess for each month from every room. The washrooms here are not as such in a good quality, which is a major issue here. The mess food is not upto the mark, this is the problem mostly students face while residing in hostel, I don't know how i survived my two years here with this mess food. Huh, this month they increased the mess fee to rupees 3250 but no as such improvement was found in the food, sad life. Every year, one form is released which can be found on the college's site, every student who want to opt for hostel needs to fill that form and present the required documents, after that give a demand draft of hostel fees and you're sorted

hostel life : in summers you are not allowed to use the coolers all day long and you have to manage a cooler at your own.
college fests : anugoonj is organised in the main campus but due to the hostel timings , girls cannot go there .

Hostels are such a mess here .Double seater rooms are available with so limited space . no attached washroom are available . only a bed without mattress, a study table and a chair are provided to you . single electricity socket is there in the room . you have to go for an extension board. food is also so bad . you have to pay 53000 for the hostel and 3150 separately per month fot the mess food. you cannot go for the tiffins . if you wanna go for tiffin ..you can go but you have to pay 3150 .hostel payment is done via DD thats not a tough task cuz bank is there in the college . so many pgs and flats are available in the nearby at a very affordable price . hostel timings are 6:00 a.m. to 7p.m. for girls and 10p.m. for boys

My experience at Msit

Canteen is very bad and ambience is also not good of canteen.

Hostel facilities are okay okay. Not too good not too bad. Rooms are small. Once you make friends, hostel Life willbe good and worth experiencing . Menu is okay okay. You need to register at the hostel office. Fees is 56000 around, quite affordable excluding mess charge .

In hostel there are double sharing rooms with common toilets and bathroom. Hostel is affordable .It cost me 64k only for room. For mess we need to give approx 3k per month. Quality of food is good and sometime they reduces the quality

Hostel Life experiences of almost every college are great as it is more about the student and less about the facilities. Some important points about Hostel at MSIT There are two separate hostels each one for boys and girls. The number of rooms is very limited and every room is twin-sharing with a common closed almirah. Bed table chair is provided and if someone wants a cooler in their room then bring your own cooler and pay extra charges. The strength of first and second-year students is maximum and they are allotted rooms on the third and second floor resp. There are around 13, 15 rooms for the 3rd year and 4 th year students combined as compared to 28 rooms for the first and second year each. MSI and MSIT students live together and sometimes you can find them room mate as well. Mess food is average so you may find students using Zomato Swiggy.

The hostel is quite affordable costing 51000 for an academic year where 10k is refundable money. The mess costs 3150 per month. You will be provided with a room with two beds 2 study tables with chairs and separate almirahs. The quality of mess food is okayish. The taste is sometimes good sometimes too bad.
