The placements at our college are decent. Students become eligible from the 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visit, offering around 100 jobs. The highest package is 8 LPA, with an average of 4 LPA. About 60% of students secure placements. I plan to pursue further studies or internships post-graduation.
My overall experience with campus life has been enriching, especially in the social aspects. The college hosts several annual and technical festivals, such as TechFest in March . There are also several student-run social groups and clubs, like the Debate Club and Cultural Society, which foster teamwork and creativity. These clubs significantly enhance student life, providing opportunities for networking and skill development.
the fee structure is fairly simple with the first year's fees being 186000 and for the subsequent years, it is a little lower than that the total fees come out to be not more than 7 lakhs for the 4 years. the seat acceptance fee was 96000 at the time of ipu counselling and an additional 90000 was to be paid before the physical verification could begin so in total 186000. there are no scholarships as far as i know for other state students. there is a delhi government scholarship but that is independent of the college basically, none of my friends has availed of any kind of scholarship.
The curriculum is not unique. it is the same as all the other engineering colleges however an effort has been made to modernise it by introducing various specifications to match the industry. I think the curriculum prepares us pretty well because there is a culture of taking off campus jobs for a long time and students dont really rely on the institute to spoon-feed them Difficulties are alright and I suggest no change in a number of exams conducted.
The faculty-to-student ratio seems fairly decent to me. the teachers are quite approachable basically, all faculties are decent but none stood out enough. I dont dislike no faculties in general very few of them are non cooperating ..there are 2 midsems and 1 end sem exams are decent not too hard since the exams are very oriented on class teaching hardly students fail
Basically, I chose this college primarily because of its location in Delhi and because the college itself is very established. it has been there for 2 decades besides the fee was very affordable here and very decent and realistic placements.

This college is much more affordable than the other and the RETURN ON INVESTMENT of this college is much better than the other college i have mentioned in the list.... Also connection of this college from my hometown is better than the other..
The maharaja Agrasen institute of information and technology is very famous and well known for its coding culture and placement and also affordable then other private engineering colleges in Delhi and also good faculty

Well my rank was 80k in general category I was getting lower branches in DTU and NSUT but again CSE is on the boost so I opted for MAIT I will say in this rank range this is one of the best college in Delhi I applied for the JAC councelling obviously other IITs/NITs were not an option for me I will say I was not serious enough I could have made it to better.colleges ofcourse but anyways what can we say Admission process was smooth everyone was helpful and I was able to get things done by going to college only once My college takes JEE mains for checking merit
I chose this college because it is one of the best colleges in IPU. I applied to other colleges of ipu like bpit and all. I even got selected in other colleges like BPIT but the course was not according to my interest. The admission process is like the ipu conduct an enterance examination and the they select the students on the basis of their rank and the cutoff can be high and mid too. It basically depends on the category a student is from like general, sc,st, etc.

I chose Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) over other colleges due to its strong emphasis on practical learning, updated curriculum, and excellent faculty. I applied to several other colleges, including Delhi Technological University (DTU), Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT). While I received confirmed admissions from GTBIT, MAIT stood out because of its extensive industry connections and opportunities for internships, which are crucial for a BTech student. I faced rejections from DTU due to high cutoffs and competition. The exam cutoffs for DTU were significantly higher than those for MAIT, which made securing a seat there challenging. The admission process at MAIT is straightforward. Eligibility for the BTech program requires a minimum of 50% in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The primary exam accepted is the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, which is the most preferred by students. The cutoffs for JEE Main are generally lower compared to other prestigious institutes, making MAIT accessible to a broader range of applicants. Overall, my admission experience at MAIT was positive, with a transparent process and supportive staff guiding me through the steps. Choosing MAIT has proven to be the right decision, as it provides a conducive environment for both academic and personal growth.
I choose this college because I filled all ipu colleges and other universities also but I got this in my top choice and I also got other colleges of ipu but due to fees and average placement of this college I choose this one.

It was the best college with low fees in my respective jee rank I also got accepted in vit it, other ip clgs, dseu cse , Dtu pie but I choose this college because of low fees and I wanted to pursue computer science The admission process in my college is simple You have to give Jee Then you have to fill ipucet form And then sit for the online counselling Overall admission experience was quite average I faced many problems during my admission like Site crashing The college management was also quite average No Upi option during registration Many banks debit card were also not working including bob, axis bank
I got selected in various colleges like Punjab technical University and guru Gobind singh indraprastha University main campus dwarka Delhi but the reason I chose maharaja agrasen institute of technology over them was because it is the 2nd best college for mechanical engineering in IPU and it is closer than the main campus to me

Changing shifts at MAIT is very easy and there is no need to worry about it. However, you must ask yourself these questions before shifting the batch - Did you wish to change your shift officially or did you simply want to sit and study in the classes which took place in the first shift?
However, the second option might feel better to you in comparison with the first because then you will not have to spend 10,000–12,000 and you will be able to change it within 24 hours.
For that, you will have to talk to the Dean or the HOD of the department and give them a convincing reason to accept your request. The process will be easy because it involves the simple act of communication, and wouldn't require any formality, but your reason should be plausible enough for them to grant your request.
