Students become eligible for placement from 3 semester and there are good placement opportunities at mait, companirs like big 4, nagaroo, etc are coming to campus and providing one of the best projects with a handsome package.
The opportunity of scholarship and financial assistance is quite good for the college itself as well as the job offers for internship and placements are also quite good as many companies visit the campus yearly
All the teachers are great and have professional degrees in their respective fields, their teaching style is great and even the practical teachers really know what theyre doing, in mait the teachers are just the best

Dislikes

The college doesn't have any good sports facilty, the ground is very small and their is no indoor game facilties, the college is at a very far location from the center of delhi so not a very good location
No scholarships were provided and idk if they provide scholarships at all to the students and no campus jobs, unfortunately.
Placement team is not good. they are not cooperative with students

Likes

They have nice alumini network and good placement record
Teachers are helpfull and are determined towards their work
Campus infrastructure is good and new buildings are very nice

Dislikes

Location of college is not soo good need to be improved
Better internship and placement can be provided
Campus is too small and slightly clean enviornment is not there

The curriculum is good and is advanced according to the new syllabus and placement requirements. The curriculum prepares us well for real-world problems, and the frequency and timing of exams are also good, which improves our study pattern

it has a very good roi given that they only charge around 7 lakhs per year
the. crowd is very good and seniors are very supportive towards freshers

The work culture is okayish nothing else

From 3-5th semester students are eligible to do internships and from 6-7th sem students are allowed for campus placements, there r many companies visited in campus lik tcs, hcl etc. Highest package is around 58lpa and average is 6-7lpa

MAIT - The Goods and The Bads

Likes

Academics and Faculty - The teachers, atleast for me are really good at their work. They guide students really well, haven't been pressuring as of now for attendance.
Societies - MAIT has all kinds of and every kind of society a student might be interested in.
Crowd - MAIT's crowd is highly aspirational and aiming at high.

Dislikes

Location - There is zero to nothing you can do outside the campus.
Timings - Classes start as early as 8:10, might be problem for a few.

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

College Inside MAIT: A Student's Take

Likes

teachers are good , they are experienced and have good understanding of the subject
healthy croud. participation in hackathons are high and good societies.
placement is decent. roi is good as fee is not too high

Dislikes

sports facilities are not good infact poor.
societies and classes clashes and we dont get attendace for class if e go to society.

The placemets at mait are generally strong , roi is good. students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem.many companies visits this college from top tech giants to mass recruiters. some of them are - google, microsoft, amazon, adobe, atlassian, deloitte, accenture, infosys and tcs. in 2024 , over 100 offers were made. avg package is arounf 8-9 lakh. highest is 64lpa on campus, 1 cr+ pa off campus. i will either do mba or get a job or work on my startup after the degree.

Sports facilities are decent and anyone can join the college and sports if interested.
Attendance criteria is pretty linient and is not really strict as such.

Dislikes

The connectivity is not good enough no buses are there that can get you from nearest metro station to the campus.
Placement opportunities are limited and for better packages we always have to look for off campus placements

Placements begin from 3rd year end and go on for the complete 4th year. Companies like ZS associates, google, amazon, juspay etc have visited the campus in the past. Highest package for the last year was more than 1 crore. Avg package is somewhere between 7-9 lpa. 50-60 % students get placemnt from the college including off campus placements. I plan to either start my masters or join a good job if possible as whatever situation arises at the end of my course at this college.

The seniors are the ones i liked the most as they all are helpful and cool type of people. I have met many seniors and they all were cool. I asked them about college, placements and cgpa etc and they all were very kind and helped me understand
I liked that there are stands where societies Organize fun events like games,quiz,treasure hunts etc. i participated in games and quiz but was not able to participate in treasure hunt 😭. As far as i know the societies are pretty cool too.
I liked the ground that it is not that small and free for all to play , there are badminton court, basketball court which are pretty awesome for playing.

Dislikes

That the badminton court is paid and not free for all like dtu , nsut etc.
The lab assistant teacher are pretty rude and arrogant for physics especially

In 6th semester the students get eligible for campus placements. Company that visited last time were amazon,infosys,zepto,paytm etc. The highest package which recently got placed was of around 60-80 lpa. And lowest was for 5lpa 90% students got offers from companies My plan after the degree is to start my own agriculture firm.

Infrastructure: The class rooms,toilets are clean
Crowd: The crowd is generally good. Seniors are helpful

Dislikes

Events: fests and freshers are unlikely to be held
Size: While the campus size is good, the campus also includes MAIMS that is for non Engineering students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is easily managable. BTech is a 4 year course divided in 8 semesters which are also divided my midsem exams. Generally 2 units are given for each exams(this may vary). Teachers encourage students to solve real world problems too. Some teachers explain in english even though they do not how to say the thing they want to say. Teachers need to know that teaching in hindi is also an option if students connect with them properly in hindi...
