- Location - There is zero to nothing you can do outside the campus.
- Timings - Classes start as early as 8:10, might be problem for a few.

- The seniors are the ones i liked the most as they all are helpful and cool type of people. I have met many seniors and they all were cool. I asked them about college, placements and cgpa etc and they all were very kind and helped me understand
- I liked that there are stands where societies Organize fun events like games,quiz,treasure hunts etc. i participated in games and quiz but was not able to participate in treasure hunt 😭. As far as i know the societies are pretty cool too.
- I liked the ground that it is not that small and free for all to play , there are badminton court, basketball court which are pretty awesome for playing.
Dislikes
- That the badminton court is paid and not free for all like dtu , nsut etc.
- The lab assistant teacher are pretty rude and arrogant for physics especially

How many marks are required in IPU-CET to get admission in USIT or MAIT in CSE (general, outside Delhi)?
IPU–CET is the annual university level entrance test conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) to induct students to its various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the affiliated colleges as well as its own schools.
As far as marks are concerned GGSIPU does not reveal the marks but only the ranks of the students. Now, as far as ranks are concerned these are the required cutoffs for CSE in recent years.

These are the ranks of the last round after which admission stops. Aim for a rank lower than that for getting admission in earlier rounds. Also as these are last-round ranks there is very little chance of the ranks getting any lower than that.
Can I get into MAIT or BVP for a B.Tech with a 5,160 rank in spot round ?I am Delhi general category
If you are from the general category, then it is a bit difficult to get MAIT with a 5,160 rank in the spot round. However, you can try for the Mechanical branch in the third round of counseling.
Among MAIT, and BVP the former is the better option when compared in terms of academics, opportunities, and placement records of past years. The placement statistics recorded as per the latest recruitment drive are as follows for both the colleges.

Can I get into IT or ECE in MAIT with a 6,000 rank?
My cousin studies at MAIT. He was a Delhiite and easily got through to the IT program. If your rank is 6,000 and you want IT or ECE, you need to sure about the following:
- Are you a Delhiite or a non Delhiite? If you are, then surely there are great chances for you to get into IT.
- If you are not from Delhi then you can easily get into ECE either through the spot round or with the help of the main cutoff.
Both branches are good and the faculty for IT and ECE at MAIT is also excellent. The placements in these departments depend upon the amount of hard work you put in. However, the placement rate is almost always near 100.
Although, there are no safe and sure predictions for this because if luck favors you, they might even get ECE in the MAIT in spot counseling.
But with your rank, you can easily get into BVP or MSIT, so keep your options open and keep working towards it because overall in my estimation, the spot round will see you through.
How likely is it to get MAIT 1st shift CSE in the spot round? My rank is 1,770 and currently have been allotted in the 2nd shift CSE. The cutoff in the last round of the 1st shift is 1,336.
One of my friends studied at MAIT. According to him, it is one of the decent choices for pursuing your engineering degree. The admission in MAIT depends upon various factors like:
- Delhi (Home State) or Outside Delhi student.
- General/ OBC/ SC/ ST/ Defense Category/ Physically Handicapped/ J&K Migrants.
- Branch and Shift of program.
- Rank-wise cut-off for all the colleges in different branches of engineering belonging to all the above categories.

At your rank 1770, there are rare chances to get admission in B.Tech CSE through MAIT. However, you can get CSE through the shift-2 cut-off if you belong to the Delhi region. There are other branches as well which accept 1770 rank in the shift-1.

You will definitely get the first shift in CSE at MAIT if you are from Delhi. However, you will not get the first shift from first counseling. If you are not a resident of Delhi, there are slim chances for you to get into MAIT. Even if you do end up getting admission to MAIT, you will probably get the second shift which I’ve heard from a friend of mine is just as good as the first shift.
According to the recent trends, the required cutoffs for MAIT for home students are from 15285 to 42615 and that from other states is 17952-27611.
