Is MAIT a good college? Well, it really depends on what you're after. If your goal is to land a decent job with a salary of around 30k per month or more, then it might be a good choice. But if you're looking for a solid learning environment or a push to pursue your passion in computer science, then I'd say definitely not.
The crowd, especially in IT and CSE, is pretty good. Placement opportunities are solid, and you'll have the chance to join some top companies. However, in terms of preparation for these opportunities, MAIT might not be the best option; MSIT could be a better fit in that regard.
As for the professors, some can be biased and tough, though there are a few great ones like Ashish Sharma in CSE, along with Sandeep Sir, Neeraj Sir, and Namita Mam.
MAIT Delhi isn't just your typical IPU college. If you're motivated, this place will definitely help you grow. I studied Mechanical Engineering at MAIT, graduating in 2012, and I still go back to visit my professors.
The only downside is its location; it's a bit far from the metro, so you'll need to make a little extra effort to commute. The student community is vibrant and diverse, and your college experience will largely depend on the friends you make. There's a lot to explore in college life here if you're open to it.
