But if infrastructure is considered Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (DDUC) is far better than other colleges under DU. As it is a newly established institution, the facilities provided are upgraded with the latest technology. They also are known to have a very highly experienced faculty, some of them even having 20-30 years of teaching experience. DDUC is popular for its Science and Commerce streams. Therefore if you wish to choose among DDUC and ARSD College for an Honours degree in Computer Science, it is suggested that you go for the former rather than the latter.

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: ARSD

Fees and Financial Aid:

The annual fees for the course B.Sc. CS (Hons.) is approx. INR 62K which includes everything from tuition fee to lab fee. Apart from this INR 1.5K - 2.5K is the examination fees paid bi-annually depending on chosen subjects. Sanjeev Arora Memorial Prize is a scholarship bestowed to best student in CS course. Apart from this college also offers few concessions from time to time based on categories like SC, ST, OBC-NCL, GEN-EWS and WOMEN.

ARSD College Review

I paid around 60k last year in september while I was taking admission in this college. Only for my course(Bsc CS(Hons)) the fees is this much otherwise for other courses fees is around 15-20k per year. This 60k includes everything about the course including the tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course completion as per my category(which is SC). I think fees for all my batchmates is same even if there category is different. There are some fees concussion for the students who apply for it. I don't think the fees will be increasing this year. Although the fees will decrease for us in the 2nd year.

Untold arsdc

The fees of bsc cs hons is 58820 for 1 year If you talk about whole course it is 176460 for 3 year And 235280 for 4 year Yes we can apply for a scholarship but it does help that much the scholarship is for those who is financially weak. The fees remain same for all years no increase in fees The course is not that affordable because as compare to other we are paying 3 to 4 time more

My life at ARSD

The annual fees of the college that I have submitted this year is INR 58820. The college releases a notification regarding scholarships after the admissions for which an interview is taken. As a first year student i don't know if fees increases or not but as informed by my seniors the fees increases by 5 to 10% annually.

The fees for my course is 56,100 for an year as it is a self funded course. Apart from this we have to pay examination fees twice a year which varies between 1500-2000. So the total fees comes 60000 excluding the charges for books. The financial aids are present but that offers a relief of 1000-2000 only which might be beneficial for govt funded courses but does not help cs hons students. I have this enrolled into an internships which is able to fund 50% of my course

Since I am a fresher, I don't know much about employment because some people say that there are way too less placements. But we do have placement drives every sem, in which famous companies meet in one place. Students have to get their portfolios ready by this time. Fees is quite high if you compare it to other courses.

Critical analysis of ARSD

The tution fee is quite high in my case because it's a self finance course even after they raise 1000-1500 rupees every year The complete cost will be 60000 including tution fee exam fee etc. There are few scholarships and book aids available and also scholarships are available for meritorious students as well the maximum you get is rs 4000 I haven't done any internship yet .... The college offered very few internships that too in other fields except technology

Aur collage is best for those students who study properly without westing time .aur collage placement is good many of companies for placement in aur collage

In yearly we paid 56000 rs and there no compundation on aur fee somtime we also fill the fee computations fom and we got releaf for 2 to 5 thousand but somtime.But i got the indian council and culturalal relationship scoolaarship through the embassy exam in all the semester they can paid my fee in my collage

DU Review - Decent but not upto the hype

Fees of B.Sc(H)CS in ARSD College is 56k per year which is the highest in DU if I remember correctly. Even in ARSD itself the difference between the course with highest and second highest fees is of about 30k and there is not hostel in this college as well so if you live far away consider adding the expense of travel or PG/Flat. Fees of other courses isn't that high mostly below 25k even the fees of my course isn't that high if you compare it with other Universities. Placement or internship drive happens every year but I don't have much idea about that yet so can't say anything.

My views about my college

Fees is course dependent, most of the courses fees is very less but as my course is self financed so I have pay way too much more than other courses. But many scholarships are provided by the government.
