ARSD UG Admission Process
Here is the UG admission process for ARSD.
1. Register on DU CSAS Portal + Pay Fee
First, students need to make an account on the DU CSAS portal. Fill in all details properly and upload the info. After that, pay the registration fee; otherwise form will stay incomplete.
2. Appear for CUET-UG Exam
Choose CUET subjects based on the ARSD course you want to study, like Psychology or Economics. Admission to ARSD happens only through the CUET score.
3. Check CUET Result & DU Cut-offs
When the CUET results come out, DU releases the cut-off round-wise. Students should check if their marks match the ARSD cutoff because the ARSD cutoff is mostly high.
4. Select ARSD + Preferred Course on CSAS
If your score fits in the cut-off, then log in to the DU portal and choose Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College with your selected course in the right round.
5. Upload Required Documents
Upload a clean scanned copy of the class 10 certificate, the class 12 marksheet, the category certificate if needed, and any valid ID. Sometimes the portal asks to re-upload.
6. College Verification & Fee Payment
ARSD teachers verify your documents online. After approval, students must pay the admission fees quickly to secure their seats. Later, you have to go to college for the original document check.
ARSD UG Admission FAQs
Ques. I did not score very high in CUET-UG, so can I still get admission in ARSD through later rounds or spot rounds?
Ans. Yes, there is a chance, but it depends on many things. ARSD cutoff is high, but in later rounds, sometimes seats remain vacant. Courses with less demand may open in the spot round. You must stay active on the CSAS portal and keep checking the round updates. Many students miss the chance only because they stop checking after the first round.
Ques. I am confused about CUET subject selection. Will wrong subjects affect my ARSD UG admission chances?
Ans. Yes, subject selection is very important, and mistakes can cause rejection. DU consider only specific CUET subjects for each course. If the subject does not match the course requirement, even a high score is useless. Students should check the DU bulletin before the exam. Many students realise mistakes after result which are very late.
ARSD PG Admission 2026

- Check CUET-PG Result & DU Cutoff Rounds
After the CUET-PG result is declared, DU release cutoff list round-wise. Students should compare their scores with the ARSD PG cutoff because competition is high in most courses.
- Select ARSD + MA Course on CSAS PG Portal
If marks match the cutoff, log in to the CSAS portal and select Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College with the chosen MA course in the correct round.
- Upload Required Documents
Upload a scanned copy of the graduation marksheet, ID proof, category certificate if required, passport-size photo and other documents asked by DU. Sometimes a re-upload is needed if an error is found.

ARSD PG Admission FAQs
Ques. I completed my graduation from a different university. Will this affect my chances of getting an MA or M.Com admission in ARSD through CUET PG?
Ans. No, different university is not a big problem for ARSD PG admission. DU allow student from all recognised universities. The main thing is the CUET PG score and subject eligibility. The graduation marksheet should be valid and recognised. Many students come from outside Delhi and still get admission every year. Just upload the document properly without mistakes.
Ques. I am worried about document verification, so what happens if any mistake is found after the fee payment during the ARSD PG admission process?
Ans. If a mistake is found, then the college mostly asks for a reupload or correction. Small issues like blurred scan, photo problem or spelling mistake can be fixed easily. But a big problem, like wrong marks or a fake certificate, can cancel admission. Students should check the document before uploading. DU usually give some time, so no need to panic.

ARSD Important Documents for Admission FAQs
Ques. I do not have my migration certificate right now, so can admission be delayed or cancelled during the ARSD document verification process?
Ans. A migration certificate is needed, but not always immediately. Many students do not have it at the time of admission. College usually gives extra time to submit later. Admission is not cancelled instantly for this reason. But the student must arrange a certificate from the board or university soon. A delay for a long time can create a problem in the final verification.
Ques. I uploaded documents online, but originals are slightly damaged, so will ARSD reject admission during the physical verification stage?
Ans. Slight damage like fold, old paper or faded print usually does not create a big issue. As long as details are visible and the document is genuine, the college accepts it. But torn, missing pages, or unclear marks can cause issues. Students should carry a photocopy. Many students worry too much, but the ARSD staff guide properly.

ARSD Cutoff FAQs
Ques. I scored slightly below the first round cutoff, so is there any real chance of getting ARSD in later rounds or upgrade rounds?
Ans. Yes, there is a chance in later rounds, but nothing is fixed. Cutoff changes every round based on seat vacancy and student withdrawal. Many students leave seat for better college so the cutoff drops sometimes. Course-wise variation also happens. Students should keep checking the CSAS portal regularly and not lose hope early.
Ques. I see the cutoff going up in the last round for some courses, so does that mean ARSD cutoff always increases instead of decreasing?
Ans. Cutoff does not always decrease. Sometimes it also. This happens when demand is high, and seats are less. Many students accept a seat in a later round with higher marks. So, cutoff movement depends on choice filling and availability. Students should not assume the cutoff will surely go down every round.
Conclusion
ARSD is a good college for Arts, Commerce and Science courses. Admission is done mainly through the CUET exam and the DU CSAS counselling. The cutoff for some courses is very high, so students need to be careful and active in every round. Filling in the correct subjects, checking the portal regularly and uploading the right documents are very important. If students stay alert and follow the process properly, the chances of getting admission become better.
ARSD Admission FAQs
Ques. Can students change their course preference after one round if they get a lower preference college in ARSD?
Ans. Yes, students can upgrade their preferences in the next rounds. DU CSAS give option of an upgrade if a higher preference seat becomes available. Many students accept a seat first and then wait for an upgrade. But if an upgrade happens, the previous seat is lost. So the student must decide carefully and check the dashboard properly every round.
Ques. Is hostel facility available for outstation students taking admission in ARSD?
Ans. ARSD does not have its own hostel facility. Most outstation students stay in PG or rented rooms nearby college area. The area around ARSD has many PG options with food and without food. Students should search early because after the admission rush, rent also goes up very fast.
Ques. Does ARSD allow students to attend classes while waiting for document re-verification or correction approval?
Ans. In most cases, colleges allow students to attend classes if the admission fee is paid and a seat is confirmed. The document correction process runs side by side. But final confirmation depends on verification approval. Students should keep checking the portal and respond fast if the college asks for any corrections or reuploads.
Ques. Are there any internal assessments or attendance rules that students should know before taking admission in ARSD?
Ans. Yes, attendance is important in ARSD, like other DU colleges. Minimum attendance is required to sit in exams. Internal assessment includes an assignment, a test and a presentation. Many students ignore this and later face issues. Teachers are strict in some department so students should attend classes regularly from the start.
Ques. Can students apply for scholarships after getting admission in ARSD through CUET?
Ans. Yes, students can apply for different scholarships after admission. DU and the government both offer scholarships for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and minority students. Some scholarship also available for merit holders. The student must apply on time and submit the income certificate and bank details correctly to avoid rejection.
