Course Curriculum Overview

4

For my couse B.COM(h) it was only my choice because it will give me wide range of selection in comparison with BBA which allows only MBA There are few useless papers like SEC and VAC which for me its of no use. Other than that the pattern is not updated. The curriculum must be updated Exams are easy for me. Main exams are held once every semester and class test are conducted in between for internals.

Internships Opportunities

4

There is a dedicated placement cell which is responsible to provide internships and placement to the students. The companies such as tata, zepto, magic pin, deloitte etc wants maily third level employees afterwards might give them promotions if they work properly. Its on the company on which basis and which taks they want to judge. If they find your skills and works appropriate then they will definitely select you.

Placement Experience

4

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Fees and Financial Aid

What i can say is my fees is around 55000 for 3 years course of B.com (h) which is around 18000-19000 per year. Every thing is included in it. Can say how it is divided in it. I things its same for all categories but SC,ST gets some scholarship from NSP and the college also provides scholarships for like 2000-3000 its based on merit list.

Campus Life

5

Tide held in march, Aarambh in October, Diwali mela in october, intern-o-feria in February, Rainbow fest in February and departmental fest in october. Various books related to course, novels and biography etc Projector is there but no one uses it and others are of a normal classroom a black board, bench, desk and light/fans. Sports facilities are quite good. There is basketball court, cricket court, badminton court, table tennis, carrom. Also different societies are built for ECA's. Its give then strenght to face reality. In societies it does not collide with any students study life but compromises are to be made in any of both for the other.

Admission

Yes I would prefer North Campus of DU. I also applied for upgrade in CUET but it did not upgrade. Due to which i am stuck with the only option to select ARSD. So basically you need to appear CUET exams get the maximum marks you can in each paper so that you can get a chance to get into Delhi University.

Faculty

3

For my department its good but in (diaries and dispatch) where we submit our files like for signature of principal sir its worst. They just delays the work. No punctuality at all. Faculty and students raitio overall is around 1:3. I like the faculty of commerce not all but some are really understanding. I dont like office staffs a all. There are class tests and semesters exams which are definitely easy even if you study one day before you can sore above 7 sgpa. I dont know how much fails or pass.

Night Life

5

Satya Niketan is the best in south campus. Gyms like M-FIT, Kia fitness, RK fitness are ther, Sandoz cafe, unbound etc cafes are there. Satya Square is a nice public area There are various PG's in this locality. Night life at satya niketan is best, its safe. In college near nescafe, Commerce department and ground is best.
