Course Curriculum Overview

REALLY REALLY USEFUL & PRACTICAL. Subjects are really relevant to actual usage in corporate with most semesters having mandated practical subjects such as Excel computation & Tally usage. Exams are held every term end with assignments & projects towards the end of the semester & continuous assessments throughout. Not very difficult, most exams follow same pattern & even questions.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are available throughout the year with Internship Fair Intern-o-Faira taking place every year in February. Roles include sales, BDE, HR, Audit & Business Management. Stipends often range from 5k per month to 20k.

Placement Experience

Good placement stats till now. All Big 4 & Big 8 Accounting & Auditing firms do visit campus every year. Tax & Audit profiles are well placed. Average package is close to 5.5LPA, with minimum being 3.2LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees of INR 17080 for B.Com(Hons.). Financial aid option & scholarships are availbale but needs to be applied for every year. Exam fees of rouglu 2200 is to be paid every semester when registering for final exams.

Campus Life

GREAT selecton of clubs & societies. All major DU clubs are present in college & areactive throughout the year. Annual Fest TIDE also attracts a huge audience. High involvement of student union in college functioning.

Admission

My main priority was distance from home. It is well located in main South Campus and does have a good reputation within the DU circuit. I also applied to NMIMS but dropped it due to locational prefernce. Entrance is through CUET. Cutoff in my year 2024 was 740/800

Faculty

Faculty is repeated throughout the years. High likelihod of same teachers teaching different subjects in different years. Core subjects are very informative, engaging & practically useful. SEC,VAC, AEC & GE options are limited.

Night Life

Since it is in the main South campus,, it is just across the road from Satya Niketan market offering a wide, and affordable selection of restaurants, cafes & even coaching centres & libraries. PGs & roooms are also availbale for out of Delhi students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I applied to a lot of other colleges under Delhi University and some private colleges, i chose this college over those because overall it was a better and reputed college. Fees is quite affordable, attendance is managable, well infrastructure, based in a good locality, good connectivity and several other reasons. My Experience at Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College

I applied for all colleges in Delhi University. I got accepted into Delhi college of arts and Commerce, and then later got upgrade to Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College. I did not apply to any other university. I wanted to get selected into a North Campus college, but my score was not enough for it. The only way to get admitted into a delhi University college is through CUET, in which I scored 815/1000 (96.5%ile) after which I got admitted into ARSD.
