Likes

The diversity of college us good, i met a lot of new people
Commerce Faculty is well educated and they taught well
Fest of arsd is best, annual fest tide is really good

Dislikes

Wifi is slow, wherever you go in the college, there will be network issue
I personally don't like the Political parties of college
Too much restrictions in events and program, they don't give free hand to student to organize

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is old and rigid, the still teach old methods and syllabus is updated very slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which the can choose to study for their semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fee is 18000, which increased by 2000 every year so this year i have paid 20000. There are many kinds of different scholarship program that give around 3000 to 6000 per year. Fees of st and sc student is less than general.

Campus Life

The overall campus is good. We have annual fest that called tide, which is quite famous in the delhi university. The library of arsd is well maintained and have a lot of books. If you talk about sports ARSD have all sports, including Cricket, badminton, volleyball basketball, and there are many ngos and student-run societies in the college.

Admission

I got this college after giving CUET, we have to make a preference list where i had put this college on 7th rank, above arsd it was all north campus colleges Nirf ranking was one of the consideration for choosing this college

Faculty

The number of faculty is quite good, you can approach them whenever you want for any advice or queries. Most of the faculty is chill on attendance and assignments, but some of the faculty really don't like student who extra curricular activees too much Exams are pretty easy tbh, scoring 7 cgpa is easy but crossing 8 is difficult

Night Life

The surrounding of our college is very quiet and have a lot of greenery. We don't have a hostel in the campus, but our college is near satyaniketan, which is full of cafes and restaurant if someone wants to enjoy night life. They can, there are many clubs, restaurant and pubs on 10 minutes walk of the college.

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college is quite ok, specially in my course the placement is good.Major students get placed. Big Companies visited our campus for placements- EY, Deloitte,Kpmg. Highest package of our college last year was 21 lakhs.

Course gives good knowledge of accounting, finance and management which influenced my decision to take this course, teachers give case studies based on real world applications, sec vac are very irrelevant, the frequency of exam is good, we have plenty of time to prepare

Placement Experience:

PWC, Icici Prudential and like wise companies which needed students for finance and accountancy roles offers placements to students. Many new startups too have started coming and this has made placements percentage shoot up in recent past.

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester students become eligible for campus placements I am not sure about the number of offers made but last year Deloitte visited the campus for recruitment. Highest package is around 11lpa plz check on Google. And average is around 5-6 lpa. Seniors told me around 30-40% of the batch gets placement. My plan is to do mba after college

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

Placement Experience:

Final year students(5th semester) are eligible for the placements, many famous company recruits, like Deloitte, flipkart,amazon and there's many local companies as well. The highest pakage in 2024 was 24LPA. 20-30% students gets the placement as most of the students opt for Higher studies or get into competitive exams. The jobs offered are based on your course.

Placement Experience:

After the graduation the students are Eligible for the placement and internship are provided in the same during graduation or courses. And some of the good companies which visited and made the offers. The average package of the company offered that 1 lakh approx in the placements this opportunity starts in du also now the good student can do this. Getting a 90% Above Mark's . After completing my graduation I will take admission in maters also. And also prepare the government exam's.

Life when you get into srcc

Placement Experience:

students become eligible to placements from the fifth semester. some famous companies that come for the placements are deloitte, BCG, McKinsey, pwc, adani, etc etc average package is 9 LPA and highest was 36 LPA of all time

So basically, DU has a preference list systems. I didn't choose the college, but I had it on a certain priority on my preference list and i was alloted this college based on my CUET scores. Arsd - Star of south campus

I was made to prepare a list of colleges that provided the course that I opted for. So I made a list of all thr college in accordance to my convenience and what I wished to get into. My first priority was obviously a north campus college such as hindu college, kirori mal, hansraj and likewise. Then I proceeded to add the rest of the topmost colleges that came under south campus.
