I applied to a lot of other colleges under Delhi University and some private colleges, i chose this college over those because overall it was a better and reputed college. Fees is quite affordable, attendance is managable, well infrastructure, based in a good locality, good connectivity and several other reasons. I applied for all colleges in Delhi University. I got accepted into Delhi college of arts and Commerce, and then later got upgrade to Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College. I did not apply to any other university. I wanted to get selected into a North Campus college, but my score was not enough for it. The only way to get admitted into a delhi University college is through CUET, in which I scored 815/1000 (96.5%ile) after which I got admitted into ARSD. I chose Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College because of its academic reputation and mainly its nirf ranking . Compared to other colleges i applied to, ARSD offered a abetter academic environment and experienced faculty. I applied to other colleges such as Hindu, Hansraj and Kirori Mal college but but admission confirmation came only from ARSD mainly due to high competition and high cutoff in CUET UG where even a minute difference in exams create a change in the seat allocation. Admissions in ARSD are conducted through CUET and delhi university's CSAS portal . the elegibility is passing certificate of class 12 as well as required subjects for the course u want to get into . the cutoff are course and category specific...Read More

Only 2 colleges were there above ARSD in my preference list. Hansraj & SSCBS both for CS Hons. Rejection occured simply due to less marks scored than cutoff. You need to be 12th passed with >60% score. Give CUET exam and chose subjects studied in 12th. Score enough to clear cutoff. Admission is completely online. Only later is semester does physical verification happens once....Read More
