- Sometimes classes timings are too late, dificult for students to attend coming from far areas.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, now the fees is annualy being increasing. The fees increased from around INR 11000 (approximately) to INR 13000 (approximately), as i dont remember the exact amount. and for the schorships, yes college do provide a refund to the students... who apply for the same... The amount is credited to the accounts when the documents are approved in the march month.
Campus Life
The clubs in the college are overall good, and along with the college development, clubs are getting improved day by day.... The annual fest named "MILAAN" is conducted every year, many books are available in the library, but still of the DSC subjects , books are fewer compared to their requirement. The college lacks techincal facility like projector in the classroom.. buut yeah there is AC in every single room of the college... The sports accessibility is good too.
Admission
It was not my choice to be in this college, rather i had not any idea about this college, it was just in my prefernce list beacuse of course and south campus, as i was enrolled in 2023 and now it is 2026, many developments and changes can be seen... Before i was alloted for Bcom, shaheed bhagat singh evening college.. which was also a good college.. the CUET UG and all the experiment of negative marking and round offs that time.. For the admission process, it is just give CUET UG make your prefernce list and if you want to be a part of Motilal Nehru College (evening), keep it in the top of your prefernce list, with the different combination of courses.
Faculty
so the exam is of 160 marks, out of which 90 marks form the part of final exam and rest 70 marks belong to Internal and Continuous assessment part. The student to faculty ratio is also good. In each semester upto 4th semester, we have 7 subjects and in 5th and 6th semester, there are 6 subjects.
Night Life
Ofcourse Delhi is not safe in nights, so the campus goes all dark after 7.30, The guard starts asking all the students to leave the campus as soon as the timing is 7.30 and those who have classes leave after.. the library is also good, and in south campus... you have many option to hangout with your friends.
