Course Curriculum Overview

I choose commercial in 11th so i had to go for b.com(h) but also during cuet i gave preference to course over college,the curriculum cover IT,Financial accounts,Cost Accounting, Management Account,GST and other courses which makes you ready for thr outer world and these course add value in your professional course like CA,CS,CFA,etc

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to around 11000-12000 per year,and its includes everything from tution fees adn etc,its almost same for other categories also,no major changes in other ones,scholarship would be applied if you have in case

Campus Life

The social life in college is very good,you have a lot of societies running in college that offers you a great experience, the annual fest also conducted by the authorities every year called "Milan" ,DU is very popular when its comes for fest,its the kind of exposure that students seeks for ,All the college societies are led by the college students.

Admission

I gave preference to course over college because the course will add the value not the college, one can take admission through CUET process, i have applied for all thr DU colleges but my preference list allotted me this!

Faculty

The faculty is really good and experience, they teach very well and very approachable, many teachers support you if you are preparing for some competitive or professional courses,they also help you in the practical exams where they teach you everything from basics

Night Life

MLNC don't have any hostel but if you are living in private PGs near to your college, the night life is fascinating ,as there are parks ,gyms and too many food stalls in a student area in south campus, most of the outside students who came Delhi for DU stays there which also opens ways to get connected with each other.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

My journey at you from classrooms to cafe

I applied to several colleges under Delhi university, including Hindu College, kirori mal College and Motilal. I got confirmed admission in Motilal. I choose Motilal because of its good academic reputation, active student societies and comparatively better. The top of my course the faculty is supportive and the location of the college is convenient with a vibrant campus, life and opportunity to participate in various Extra curriculum activities. I couldn't make it to Hindu or kirori mal their cut off is very high. My score is a 430 out of 800. Which wasn't sufficient to a seat in top higher colleges, my school fell shot of the requirements and I later that I should Have more strategically to target these colleges. The admission processor, Delhi University recently chain and now it's completely CUET for undergraduate admission. For my course BA program. The CUETUG is accepted. Students have to apply through common seat allocation system portal of DU where the eligibility is privately based on class 12th marks and CUET score the cut-off very differently on the course and college and student need to prioritise their choice on the CS portal. overall admission experience was smooth but competitive. It require patient and careful planning of courses and college preference.
