Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum for my course at hansraj is highly relevant and well structured subjects like programming data structure, databases, operating system and computer networks. What the main reason I chose this course as the farmer strong foundation for both higher studies and industry roles, the curriculum prepare students well for real-world applications through practical labs projects and problems solving assignments. The balance between theory and practical learning is appropriate and helps and building co-technical skills. Exams are conducted regularly through internal assessment and exams which are moderately difficult but manageable with consistent study. one area of improvement could be the inclusion of more advanced topics like AI cloud computing and industry oriented tool that an earlier stage, overall the curriculum is comprehensive updated and very useful for your development.

Internships Opportunities

4

Hansraj College provides good internship opportunities through its placement and internship and as well as departmental and society networks. Student commonly Jat internships and Company, such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte, start-ups and tech firms in for roles like software development, intern data analyst, intern web developer and testing intern the stipend usually ranges between 8000 to 20,000 per month, depending on the company and role. many students also get internships through platforms like Internshala and LinkedIn with guidance from faculty, typical projects include building applications, database management systems, automation tools and data analysis dashboard which helps in getting hands on technical experience. These internship significantly improve practical skills, resume quality, and future placement chance making them beneficial for career growth.

Placement Experience

4

placements at my college for computer. Science are decent and scheduling improving every year. Students become eligible for campus placement from the fifth and sixth semester through the college placement, reputed companies and several start-ups regularly. Visit the campus and offer roles in Stock furred development, data analysis, testing, and consulting the average package, usually ranges between 4 to 10 lakhs while the highest package for technical roles can go above 10 lakhs depending upon the company and profile around 60 to 70% of industry insurance get placed through campus drive. The placement provide good training, resume, guidance and interview preparation sessions after completing my degree. I plan to gain industry experience through placements and later Pari, higher studies and computer science, strengthen my technical expertise and career prospects.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee is around 55000 to 60000 for general category. In the first year it is 59965 which included fees, admission fees, registration fees, development charges, lab fees, examination fees, and other compulsory College charges. the second and third year fees are almost similar with minor increases as per Delhi University. So the total fee for the complete three year course comes to around 170000-180000. The fees having increased slightly over the years but remain reasonable. Considering the facilities and academic quality students from categories may pay comparatively lower fees as per university rules. Some of my batchmates from the categories have paid around 30,000 per year. The college and university also provide scholarship such as merit cum income means, scholarship, DU scholarship and Government scholarship for eligible students which help reduce the financial burden significantly.

Campus Life

4

campus life at my college is vibrant, engaging and very enriching. The annual fest and technical events are among the highlights of the year and usually between February and March attracting participation from many colleges. The libraries best talk with a wide Aarav textbook, reference books, journals and Digital resources, which are easily accessible to students throughout the academic year. Classrooms are well equipped with projector Smart board and proper seating, creating a comfortable learning environment. The college also offers good sports facilities, including ground, sports and regular inter College competitions. For overall development. There are numerous student and societies and club related to Tech culture, music, debate, and social service plan, an important role and personality development networking over all the campus atmosphere is friendly, discipline and social act, making college life, enjoyable and productive.

Admission

I applied to a few top Delhi university colleges and a few Indraprastha University colleges as well. I had received admission from both of those universities but I chose hansraj College because of strong academic reputation, experience faculty, discipline, environment and consistent placement records. Compare to other colleges hansraj has better infrastructure more active technical society and highly competitive peer group, which suited my academic goals. The admission process was almost fully online through the admission portal based on the exam scores and cut-off eligibility include passing class 12th with mathematics and qualifying for the common entrance test. The cut-off for computer science was decent high but admission process was smooth, transparent, and while organised, making the experience stress free and systematic.

Faculty

4

The faculty members at hansraj College are highly qualified experienced and very approachable. The faculty two student ratio is balanced which allows proper interaction and individual attention. When needed. Most teachers are supportive and always ready to clear doubts after class or during office hours in the computer science department professors, explain concepts clearly with a good mix of theory and practical examples, making learning effective the core structure as well organised and follows the Delhi University curriculum covering courses like programming, data, structures, databases and operating system. The exam system includes internal assessment, practical and semester exams which are fairly balanced difficulty. The regular study the exams are manageable and more students are able to clear them comfortably. The marking steam as transfer and based on both the internal and external performance. Overall, the curriculum is element and helpful for higher studies and career preparation.

Night Life

5

The nightlife around college is calm, safe and student friendly rather than very party oriented inside the campus. Library gym and common areas are usually close by evening while hostel and time, safety and discipline more students by spending time and nearby cafes, food outlets and public areas around the north campus such as kamla nagar Hudson Lane and GTB Nagar, which are popular hangout spot with restaurants, Coffee shops and desert places open till late. Many students also relaxed by walking around the campus area visiting tea stalls or studying in groups. The locality is generally saved roam around at night as it as well, la and crowd with students. Overall, the nightlife is peaceful, social and suitable for students want a Balanced college life.

Remarks:

If you are going to Jamia Millia Islamia, do not expect any exposure. Once, graduated you'll get to know that you have now come out of the shell. Jamia is not just a University, it's sort of a state in itself. Also, the process of getting a provisional certificate or migration certificate is damn tedious. I've almost cried every day pleading them to dispatch my certificates as soon as possible. They work like sloths in the Controller of Examination branch. Apart from the negatives, you'll be blessed with amazing friends. The biggest Negative Remark - You can not score high like any other University. Do not compare your marks with DU students. Professors in Chemistry Department do not give more than 75%. If you are getting 70% in Jamia, it's equivalent to scoring 85% in DU with the same pressure and hard work.
