Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is aligned with the today's requirements but it could be better. More practical than theoretical knowledge should be taught and industry level knowledge should be provided. End sems are mainly conducted in dec-jan and may-june months and timings differ shiftwise. Morning times are 9:30 pm to 12:30 pm and afternoon timings are 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities are provided time to time. Companies like wipro, Kpmg, zomato, capgemini etc offers jobs and internship roles. The avg package for job role is 3-4 lpa. For internship it varies company to company and roles, it may go from 2000 per month to 15,000 per month, it varies and is not fixed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee is 30,000 per year, with examination fees which goes around 2000 per semester, the total fees goes up to approx 34,000 per year. The fees is same for all the categories. Merit basis scholarship is provided.

Campus Life

3

Annual fest is conducted during feb or march, it's called Saraang. There are various books based on different subjects. There are various societies like departmental socs, cultural socs, Nss, Ncc, Fine Arts socs etc. There is also sports relayed activities like boxing.

Admission

I had put multiple colleges in my preference list for Computer Science but I decided with this college as it has proper labs and infrastructure is better than other colleges. For my college, we have to appear for CUET-UG. It is for different undergraduate courses in different domains.

Faculty

3

Faculty of my course is well qualified. The faculty to student relationship is good. Teachers are supportive and clear any doubts/queries of students. For exam systems, there are mid-sems, practicals and main end sems exams.

Night Life

2

There are no late night activities as it's an all- girls college. For hanging spots, our college is close to Connaught place, Janpath and there are also different chinese eating near our college. Talking about the cafeterias, it's bigger comparing to other colleges but I find it overpriced considering the quantity of food.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
