Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course has the scope of placements after masters and it was little different subject that I wanted to study after my 12th. There are two semesters which are held per year of graduation, each lasting for 6 months.when we talk about the difficulty level of the exam, it is not very difficult and one can pass with very good marks and grades.

Internships Opportunities

1

I have no internship experience as I'm in my first year of graduation. So it will take time for me to get there and share about the internship experience. I'm not the right person to comment on it as I haven't experienced it myself.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for the placement from the 6th semester or third year of their graduation. There is a placement cell in college which gives oportunities to every eligible student for the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Annual fees for my course is 33,145/- Rupees. Here is the breakdown of this annual fees that I paid for my course:- 1) Tution fees-?180 2) Admission fee-?5 3) Lab fee-?500 4)I card-?250.....so on...Total comes out to be ?33145.. Although there is not much difference between my fees and my other batchmates who are from other categories. Our college and university provides various scholarships based on merit and categories. Some of them are:- 1) Shri H R. Sabharwal price 2) Shrimati Indra Kapoor Price 3) Mata Bhagwan Devi price ....etc. 2)

Campus Life

4

My overall experience in the college regarding the fests, cultural events, and campus life is very good and I'm happy to be here as I consider myself lucky to be in one of the best college in the country.

Admission

I applied for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and central university of Rajasthan(CURAJ) other than delhi university. I got confirmed admissions in all these three universities but I chose to continue with delhi university and Hansraj College. I didn't got any rejectiona from any toher collegea and universities that I applied for. So it's a good thing. The admission process to get in here is as follows:- 1) Clear the cutoff for you course and university by giving the CUET-UG exams for undergraduate courses. 2) Go into the counselling process and select your desired courses and college or university. 3) Depending on your socre that you obtained in CUET UG exam you will be allotted the college and course. If you wish to change you can opt for the counselling in the other rounds as well. As there are multiple rounds of counselling are conducted. My overall admission process was vey smooth without any major issues. Just trust yourself and you will land in best colleges of the country.

Faculty

4

The faculty to students ratio not very bad and in especially in my department it is very good ratio. Faculty focuses on almost each and every student in the classroom as the strength is low in my course. The professors teach very efficiently and they provide us with the indepth which is required not only to clear the examination but also in future research work if anyone wish to pursue in that particular field in his career.

Night Life

1

There is no nightlife in my college as it gets closed after 1700 hours. So if one wants to enjoy nightlife he/she will need to venture outside the college campus. It is safe outside the campus and there a various cafeteria, restaurants, tea stalls for fun.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements around 5th to 6th semester. Highest package of 2024 was 25LPA. Usually 8CGPA is considered a sweet spot for campus placements plus it gets them easier to get into world class universities for post graduation.

Reviewed on Mar 3, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course Biomedical Sciences is very interesting as well as challenging, it covers various fields of sciences and has great scope in terms of research. The course connects theory with real world applications in hospitals and research laboratories. A few examples would include, antibacterial testing, PFT, EMG, blood tests, which are commonly performed in hospitals. The course also helps us to pursue our hands in research further by providing us with hands on training for skills such as biostatistics, writing scientific literature, lab skills, etc. A few improvements that I would suggest is the removal of outdated testing methods and practicals from the curriculum that are not essential for the real world currently. The teaching methods are quite good and interesting. The exams are conducted at the end of each semester and are relevant to the curriculum. The practical exams test your knowledge of hands on experience that you've gained while doing lab work. Theory exams are of 3 hours as per usual and test your theoretical knowledge from books and classes mainly.
