Course Curriculum Overview
Cirrculam is more theoritical just. There is negligible practical life lessons. Just like normal college, u study just to get degree. The whole cirriculam should be improved. Examination is held only once - midsems, endsems thats all.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for first sem is 4000 at the time of admission. And the total fees is 16000 for 3 years. I am from general category. There are various Scolarship like svmcm, aikyashree, etc for west bengal students.
Campus Life
Various sports like cricket , football keeps helded. The overall environment is very sports specific. Other cultural programs are also organised. There is a big library as well which is open till 4pm. Infrastructure is quite old which can be improved.
Admission
The college is at the middle of the town and location wise good thats why i chose it. It is one of the oldest college in my region also. There is no attendenc criteria. Overall in terms of flexibility it is good. So i chose it. Admission is through a counselling based on 12th percentage. After counselling the rest process is very smooth.
Faculty
There are good number of faculties. But sometimes they are not much serious. There is no strictness, anyone can do whatever they want in the classroom. The mathematics faculty is one of my favourite faculty. Jhunjhun kanjil mam is also good. The strictness should be more to make the students more attaintive in the class. Exam are very easy to score. You can score a good marks even by studying a night before. Relevency is a bit low it could be better.
Interview Experience
No there was no any interview for admission, the admission was just on the basis of 12 th score. You should pass ur 12 th examination with minimum 60 percent in it. There is no other terms and conditions , just apply for the counselling.
Night Life
There is a big library, canteen, a big ground. You can visit a temple which is near from the college. There is no place for roaming, girls just roam at your risk. Overall the campus is very big, there are several quarters also for the professor and staffs.
