- The schedule for Counselling of WBJEE JEMScN 2024 is released. The registration, fee payment and choice filling have started and the last date to apply is November 10, 2024. The seat allotment results for round 1 will be released on November 12, 2024. The seat acceptance fee should be paid between November 12 – 17, 2024. The seat allotment results for round 2 will be released on November 19, 2024 and the payment for seat acceptance should be paid between November 19 – 23, 2024. The seat allotment results for round 3 will be released on November 26, 2024 and the payment for seat acceptance should be done between November 26 – 29, 2024.
- WBJEE ANM & GNM Admission 2024 E-Counselling Schedule has been released. The Registration & Choice Filling can be done till Nov 11, 2024. The first & second rounds of seat allotment results will be declared on Nov 13, 2024 & Nov 20, 2024 respectively. Further, to check the complete schedule, click here. Additionally, Bardhaman Institute of Nursing has been withdrawn from GNM Counseling for 2024-2025 due to licensing issues. The Neotia University has introduced 3 new courses in Maritime Studies with excellent career opportunities within a very short period of time. The Sponsorship letter for 18 months sailing (2 sailing) will be provided for the courses like Post graduate Diploma in Marine Engineering (1 year) (PGDME), Diploma in Nautical Science (1 year) (DNS), and Orientation Course for Catering Personnel (OCCP) (12 Days) who works in a Ship / Cruise.
In addition to these programs, TNU offers UG courses in the disciplines of Physiotherapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Fisheries Science, etc. Most of the courses require the candidate to appear and score valid marks in the university’s aptitude test. Admission to some of the subjects depends on the candidate’s performance in the previous qualifying examination, and GD and PI rounds. Candidates with diplomas in relevant fields may also apply for the Lateral Entry courses. Additionally, more than 3200 students are drawn from India and Abroad to the institute’s campus. The Neotia University Admission
To apply for admission at TNU, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the website (www.tnu.in) and go to “Online Registration”
- A Registration Form will open with 3 options: Undergraduate Courses, Postgraduate Courses & PhD Courses
- Click on the desired option and the registration window will open
- Fill up the Registration Form with Mobile Verification with instant OTP and click on the register button.
- An email with a link will automatically be sent to the verified mail id along with log in & password
- By clicking the link in the mail the student will reach his / her “Dashboard” (automatically email verification will be done)
- From the Dashboard, a student can fill up the Application / Admission Form and upload the required documents
- Once the Form is filled up and submitted the Form, an Application Number will generate automatically for the student that he/she can use for all future references.
- Once the Application Form is submitted successfully and the unique Application Number is generated, the student can make an online payment of INR 20,000 for Provisional Admission
Note: For B.A(Hons.) in Mass Communication, B.Com.(Hons.) with Spl. in Taxation & E-Accounting, B.Sc. (Hons.) in Applied Psychology, and All Post Graduate Courses, the provisional admission fee is INR 10,000.

The Neotia University Facilities and Hostel
Hostel: TNU provides separate hostel facilities to boys and girls. The hostel fee per semester is INR 45,000.
Library: The Neotia University has a well-equipped library with 8000 sq. ft of reading area, as well as niche corners for solo study. With a collection of nearly 31000 National and International books, 3 million e-books and e-journals, open archives, and other digital resources, we offer a high-tech catalog from which students can access (anywhere/ anytime) a wide range of online books and journals. Besides the central library, each department has its own fully equipped library as well.
Transportation: The institute also offers transportation facilities at a cost of INR 22,000 per semester. The buses provided by the institute are air-conditioned and ply to various major points in Kolkata and nearby locations.
Classrooms & Seminar Rooms: All departments of the University boast of a Smart Classroom facility, which makes learning more interesting and easy. Spacious and innovative designed classrooms and seminar rooms, with internet connectivity, interactive boards, projector screens, and advanced communication facilities to host lectures, seminars, workshops, and conferences to encourage experiential learning for the students.
Workshop: A large size of 10000 sq. ft. of workshop with all the latest machinery installed within. Students are trained on these machinery under the guidance and supervision of qualified & trained experts on various programs offered by the University.
Laboratories: All departments have well-equipped laboratories supervised by experienced faculty members & trained technicians to help the students in performing experiments. There is also a highly advanced language laboratory to help students to improve their communication skills as well as gesture, posture & body language.
Moot Court: Students get a taste of real court proceedings in the moot court. A moot court not only helps in enhancing legal knowledge, but also in brushing up communication, drafting, legal research, and presentation skills.
WiFi Campus: The entire campus is WiFi-ed 24 X 7 including hostels. Students have access to online resources and IT infrastructure to support their educational endeavors. The IT department of the University also helps students with any difficulty they may face.
Multipurpose Hall: A large size of 13000 sq. ft. of Multipurpose Hall is available within the campus to organize various programs and activities like Seminars, Quiz and Drama along with indoor sports.
Ship in Campus: Ship-in-Campus of the institute is an in-house shipbuilding that is in working condition consisting of a 4000 BHP Ship Engine along with a complete set of machinery available on the ship like a Generator, Oil-Water separator, Boiler, Fire Control Lab, etc. This is the only working Ship in Campus in Eastern India of its size and students are provided hands-on training on various machineries of it.
Sports: Sports and physical activities play an integral part in the University curriculum. This ensures the holistic development of the mind and body. The University has separate indoor halls for indoor games like table tennis, carom, snooker, chess, badminton, etc. Adequate facilities and courts are available for volleyball, badminton, and basketball, and two large playfields for Cricket and Football. Dedicated and qualified Coaches for Football, Basket Ball, and Cricket are available for coaching and guidance.
How To Reach The Neotia University?
The Neotia University is located at Jhinger Pole, Sarisa, Diamond Harbour Road, 24 Parganas South, West Bengal. Students can easily reach this institute via road transport as several bus stops are located at close vicinity. Moreover, those who are willing to take an autorickshaw or a cab, can easily get one outside the institute’s campus. The Neotia University also provides transport facility at a cost of INR 22,000 per semester. The buses provided by the institute are air-conditioned and ply to various major points in Kolkata and nearby locations. There are 2 buses of TNU, one is named Ultadanga / Esplanade which picks-up students and faculty from Ultadanga, Kankurgachi, via Esplanade, Thakurpukur, Joka, Pailan, Amtala, and Sirakole. The other bus, named Salt Lake / Ruby picks-up students and faculty from PNB, 4 no. tank, CRP Camp, via Karunamoyee, Thekurpukur, Joka, Pailan, Amtala, and Sirakole. Ques. What is the fee structure for the B.Tech in CSE courses at TNU?
Ans. The tuition fee for B.Tech in CSE courses is INR 99,000 for the first senester at TNU.
Ques. Does TNU provide accommodation facilities?
Ans. Yes, there are separate residential accommodations for Boys (1000+) and Girls (550+) students. The University has 3-Boys Hostel and 1-Girls Hostel. - The campus is full of green plants and it is noise-free. This enables every student to easily concentrate in their studies. The campus life is good as it is eco-friendly as well as pet-friendly.
- The teachers of this university is really helpful and cooperative. They treat every students with great care and love.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of every building alloted for different course study is really not maintained properly.
- Every other classrooms except the labs and the library is not air-conditioned.
Admission:
I applied of Calcutta University law colleges but the admission process was too slow and i was not sure whether i will get into it or not. I went for the private university then as i saw the environment was too eco-friend as well as pet friendly which enables a nice grooming for one student. I heard the faculties were too friendly and helpful and i did not hear wrong though. One needs to score above 50% in order to get into this college and there is not exam for admission process is held here. The students may apply for scholarships or not and after the payment of the admission fees and the course fee one can start with the classes.

- The campus is big but it's a low land and water logging is common whenever it rains
- The classrooms don't have AC but the library does

I contacted various colleges across kolkata but there was always a problem. My marks were less and the direct admission method required a good amount of money, also some denied giving me CSE and at the end when I applied in TNU I got a seat. Overall admission process experience was good for me didnot have to visit the office much Eligibility criteria is 60% in pcm aggregate they also take students from wbjee exams and jee mains results

The college's reputation for academic excellence and the quality of its programs. The expertise and experience of the faculty members in their respective fields. It's a private collage so you have to score 60% In your HS school exam

- The Lab setup quality of our collage is day by day improving.

- Some strict rules of our collages like mandatory internship in vacations make my collage restrictive

I have just applied in TNU because my elder brother studied here. For admission at first i have to pay 20k rupeed for sit booking then some professor call me and with help of him i registered as a student of this collage then few days later I went to see my collage

The course fees discount system of my college is good for middleclass student who has financial problems. I do not have very high rank in joint entrance and this college faculties are very good and the placements are not bad. every students gets placed by the college and the college infrastructure is good and the college location is very eco friendly.

- The gender ratio is 70:30 for Psychology where 70% of the students are girls

- The location is very deserted with limited transport options.

To be eligible for the admission for Applied Psychology course at TNU, you need pass10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks. I applied online and after submission of my marks, I was called for a personal interview. After 2 weeks, I got an admission confirmation letter.

First in bachelor i have take admission in SIHM , Durgapur in hotel management. Then I have changed my mind and shift to this college for hospital management. No i have not get any rejection from any college. I have change my college in bachelor for having a good scope in hospital management. In bachelor according to yours marks you can get admission in our college. But in masters you should have a good marks and have to sit for an interview to take admission in our college. Overall the admission experience is very good for me in The Neotia University.

Admission process isnt very rigorous and i chose this college because of a relative who is a part ofthe faculty here. I applied to LPU and GDGU but they are far from my hometown. eligibility isnt so hard and fast and people can make it.

General Conditions
- 5% admitted students from socially & economically backward category (as defined by the West Bengal Govt.) shall get a tuition fee waiver (100% free-ship)
- Under the above various scholarships, a student can be eligible for financial support from only one scheme, as the case may be. The benefits of multiple scholarships cannot be awarded to a single student.
- In case of any discrepancy/ concealment of facts, the College/ University or sponsoring Trust will cancel the scholarship and recover the amount of scholarship granted.
- Scholars are required to score 6.5 CGPA or above in every semester examination without any backlog.
- Any kind of indiscipline activities will make the scholarship liable to be canceled.
- Scholars are required to clear their other dues of the college or University on due dates.
- Family Income Certificate to be obtained from any "A1 Gazetted Officer" wherever applicable.
- 12th Class Marks for Scholarship to be calculated on the basis of "Best of 5 Subjects" for All Boards.
- For Master Degree Courses - Scholarship shall be calculated on overall Graduation marks.
- For Lateral Entry Courses - Scholarship shall be calculated on overall Diploma marks.
- For GRAMOTTHAN & SPECIAL HILL STUDENTS' Scholarship - submission of the Permanent Resident Proof of students is mandatory.
- Students need to apply for a scholarship after Final Admission to the Registrar Office within stipulated notified time.
- The decision of the management will be final and cannot be challenged.
Special Note:
- Students of B.Tech in Electrical Engineering will be entitled to additional 25% Industry Sponsorship from Vikram Solar Ltd.

The Registration Formcontains 3 options: Undergraduate Courses, Postgraduate Courses & PhD Courses. Click on the desired option and the registration window will open. Fill up the Registration Form. Once the Form is filled up and submitted the Form, an Application Number will generate automatically for the student that he/she can use for all future references. Once the Application Form is submitted successfully and the unique Application Number is generated, the student can make an online payment of INR 20,000 for Provisional Admission.
The Neotia University does not offer the food technology course. It offers the (Food Nutrition and Dietics). Candidate must have 12th standard pass with Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects with minimum 55% marks and English as compulsory subject from a Recognized / Valid Board. Students need to appear and clear ‘online’ / ‘offline’ test (Aptitude) with minimum 30% marks (if applicable)
Given below are the year wise fee details of the Neotia University Bachelor of Pharmacy course:
Neotia University Admission 2024 for the BTech program will be done through the WBJEE. The WBJEE 2024 admit cards has released on April 18 and the WBJEE Entrance Test will be held on April 28, 2024.
The Neotia University B.Tech. fees vary from specialisation to specialisation. However, the average first year fee of the Neotia University B.Tech. is INR 4.62 lacs. The second, third and fourth year fees are the same INR 3.60 lacs.
Neotia University does not charge any application fee for B.Tech. However, it charges one time fee at the time of admission which is INR 29 thousand. The per semester fee of Neotia University B.Tech. is INR 70 thousand. The total course fee is INR 5,89,000.
