The Honest statements about Burdwan Raj College.

Dislikes

There's no gym , no wifi , no infrastructure improvement,no canteen ,no id card, no freshers no farewell. Typically a college which has it's name for it's last achievements but in this day it is a total useless college.

Admission:

1. I also applied for Bishnupur Ramananda college and I also got a seat there but i choose this college because of it's NAAC grading which is B++ ,but the system and universities pressure are on another level than that college. 2. I also applied to some well known colleges but i couldn't make it cause I had science stream in +2, which is a lot disadvantage and also I don't had very good marks in my +2. 3. The admission process is totally Merit base , like they will qualify you by checking your marksheet of +2 and they'll give you merit score and by that you can get an admission but the registration method is so much time holding which i discussed before.

The learning facilities like lab, library, practical rooms, projectors are always available and used randomly.
The student council of our college is so active and helpfull, their contribution is always appreciated .

Some times our student council is attached with political matters, this thing I don't like most.

Some has to score minimum 80 % marks on overall Higher Secondary exam and minimum 90% result on the main subject paper . Our college published a admission portal through online website, students can apply through this portal with the eligibility criteria. The admission process is so long, it is half done in online and half in offline in college campus , and after that there are so many other procedures of confirm admission, so according to me these are some drawbacks .

The guys who set down all the time infront of 'Sansad', they act like they are the boss of college.

Admission:

Eligibility for the B.A. GENERAL course is nothing. You just need to passout 12th. But if you want some greater courses like, Bsc, honours then yes there are some criteria to fulfill. Exams are happening in every 6 months. But sometimes because of some issues, exams delayed by 1-2 month.(Exams are under The University of Burdwan) No improvement needs for admission process. That's pretty good.

I like the environment and the campus of the college soo much. Our college has a big campus and also a big playground to play. Beside of classes we can play at this ground. You can have hostel facility boys and girls both with low cost
Everyone of our college can issue their library cards. It is so much beneficial for the students whom are facing financial problems. They can pick free books from here, and lots of stocks are there. Also our college is famous for annual fest in bwn.
Our annual function are really very much amusing. Every year our college brings good artists of bollywood and other. All the departments and hostels make their stalls. You can enjoy 3 day full enjoyment in every year

Dislikes

Some times our college facing development problems. Sometimes there are lack off fans and lights in class rooms. But it is not too much problems. If our hall room has a capacity of 8 fans or lights you can see 1 or 2 is not working.

Admission:

There are no entrance exam for Burdwan Raj College students. If you're getting 70% + number in HS then you can expect your admission easily in this college. You just have to check the rank after some days of applying. Then if you get chance you will be given instructions on college website notice. How will be the process and the documents you have to provide, all details will be told. If you scored 60-70 percentage in HS you can expect your chance in 2nd and onward merit list

After I passed 12th in commerce stream then I was looking for a college to study for Bcom, I found the best college in Burdwan district is Burdwan Raj College and I got the admission there. For admission in this college you need to get 50% in 12th.

Admission:

Eligibility -12th pass It is Merritcome process in online, your result your identity. Better marks is more important for taking admission in this college. It is the best college in Burdwan in my opinion. Fist you fillup your form then you should wait for this process, reservation benifit is available as per our constitutional rule.
