- They have enough infrastructure but the management is very sick.
- The fees of all the courses are very high but no air conditioner is available in the classroom which makes it very difficult to study in the summer season.
- College canteen is too small than the no. of students. and the price of each and every foods are so high. and the food quality in our canteen is too poor. overall our canteen facility is too bad.

I did not apply to other colleges. the eligibility criteria was very easy for me to get in. it was close to my house so i took admission in there. you need 70% in 12th standard to get into this college for btech degree. admission experiance was good. they help you with everything. many peaople choose Btech CSE degree.

The reason I took admission to the college because the fees structure is less rather than the other private universities which provides good course and is pretty much famous for journalism and mass communication. I did not opted for any other universities because I decided to come here only.

We are from middle class famliy and this college is situated in a very good place where you can find good transport you can travel by local bus for reaching college if you live far away from college.The environment is good

- I didn't find anything like that kind of competition in that college. Here, girls and boys are all given equal value.Our college has a system of admissions, so the most problematic faculty here are girls.
- Which goes without saying, our campus is very beautiful and you can enjoy it a lot and there is a positive vibe here. There is a good enough environment for studying.
Dislikes
- The college's faculty has many shortcomings. The faculty is not increasing the number of students it is admitting. This is a fault of the college.
- They need to increase their digital classrooms because we have to take classes together in very crowded places, which makes it very difficult for us to learn things.

To be honest, I didn't want to get admitted to the college, but getting admission in this college was easier than other colleges because direct admission was possible here, you didn't have to show any entrance marks, just by looking at the board marks.The picture here was much lower than other colleges, so I spent more time in college admissions. Here, MIT Adams, these are colleges, the face is much higher, which is very difficult to avoid in general.

I applied to sccottish , st xavier , amity and Jadavpur university. I got accepted in Scottish and amity. I choose this college over them as this college had a good ambience and also the faculty was good and this college take studies very seriously. I got rejected from st xaviers , I could'nt make it to Jadavpur university entrance exam due to medical conditions. I got accepted in amity but didn't like tge ambience and there fees structure is little high . I also got accepted in sccotish but the list came one day late and i already took addmission in Sister Nivedita University. The admissions criteria for a Bachelor of Arts (Ba) in sociology at Sister Nivedita university in Kolkata ia as follows:- The conditions must have passed or appeared in 10+2 (any stream) from a recognised board with a minimum aggregation of 40% The university also takes a interview through gmeet to check weather you are eligible or not. They also accept students who applied for cuet

- Being from psychology department, the one thing I liked the most was the faculty. The HOD was very supportive and the best one can wish for.
- The classes were nice and the labs were air conditioned
Dislikes
- The management of the college was really poor. For paying fees or any other official work we had to stand in long queues
- There is not much campus life there. There are not many events happening in the college

I couldn't get into other colleges because of my 12th boards marks. The admission process was smooth and the people helped us through the process. The college took admission based on 12th boards marks in 2021 due to COVID.

- Taking admission in this university was hassle-free as all the administrative staff were really very polite and provided the best assistance on their part
- They claimed to have impressive internships and placements for the students.
Dislikes
- I didn't like the kind of faculty they have hired, they cannot speak proper English, they don't dress formally and behave so uncultured and informal. They are mean and non- assisting towards the students.
- Moreover, the professors they fail to cover the syllabus and prefer quantity based answer over quality. They provide pathetic mentorship and doesn't help the students to improve their credentials for the future pursuits.

While I was looking out for colleges, I had applied to satyabhama institute of science and technology, Xavier's law college bhubaneswar, Christ University Pune and several others. I had got selected in all of the above mentioned colleges but had to take admission in SNU as I'm a resident of west Bengal and Kolkata is the most nearest and accessible city to my home. My family was not in favour of sending me to different state altogether with unknown different culture and unaware societal pattern. Moreover, SNU offered me 100% scholarship on tuition fees while the above mentioned colleges have exorbitant fee structures. I had applied for CUET entrance test targeting BHU but unfortunately I couldn't appear for the cuet exam and couldn't make it. The admission process to my college is really simple. One needs to apply for the online registration then visit the campus for documents verification, after making a deposit of ?30000 as admission fee along with the 1st semester fee, they confirm their admission.

- The location of the college is set in the heart of Newtown which is very near to the bus stand and auto stands so transportation won't be a problem at all.
- The food in the canteen is very hygiene maintained.
Dislikes
- The account department faculty and management is a thing that not only me but most of my peers dislike about, specially if you are someone who gets a little delayed while paying fees.
- The infrastructure of the library is very shabby and not well maintained.
Admission:
Well I didn't apply for any other college. Snu was the college i applied to and got my seat here in this college. And I myself chose this college's fees structure was in my budget and also transportation was easy for this college. Now talking of the admission process of snu, well you can take direct admission to SNU if you have appeared for Jee or Wbjee entrance examination. In case you haven't appeared for them no worries as SNU conducts it own entrance examination which is done in two rounds — one is the mcq test which includes basic topic physics chemistry maths and general aptitude and the second one is an interview round. Now clearing these two rounds is not really a big job as the difficulty of these examination is really easy as compared to Jee or Wbjee. Now also you should have to have a minimum of 60 percent marks in your class X and xii boards examination which the basic cutoff criteria set by our college for the admission. Overall i would say the admission process is quite smooth in SNU.

- The things I disliked about my college is that the low sanitary maintenance.

Sister nivedita University is an autonomous University. It has a huge placement opportunity for the freshers. That's why I'm here . To get admission in this college for b.tech in CSE a candidate has to clear WBJEE and required atleast 75% in HS .
