Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata, offers over 102 UG and PG courses across 14 schools within the institution. The admission process is merit-based and depends on the merit achieved in the SNUET/WBJEE/SAT/GATE/MATE entrance exams.

SNU offers 16 specialisations under the flagship BSc course. The fees range from INR 89,000 to INR 1.78 Lakhs for the first year. The other popular program is the B.Tech course that has 8 specialisations and provision for lateral entry. B.Tech admissions require a valid WBJEE/JEE Mains score. Since the 2025 cutoff lists are not out yet, the WBJEE 2024 cutoff ranged from 17663-36803. SNU in Kolkata admits students through both online and offline modes of application.

I applied for other colleges as well like Amity University and Adamas University and other colleges as well but I choose Sister Nivedita University because the institution offers a curriculum that is in line with the industry and places a strong emphasis on research and academics that are integrated with technology. I didn't have a appear for any formal interview process due to my 90 above marks in both 10&12 boards. Plus I received a scholarship of 75%. I only appeared for CLAT examination for the this course.

Sister Nivedita clg is located in new town, which is a very good location compared to other places in kolkata in terms of so many things. also, many of my school friends took admission in this clg only. this clg have so many courses (85+).

Focused on campus life, but not on bringing quality students.

Admission:

I applied to some other colleges but I there was a counselor who called me up. I think they were from college or some other third party. And they convinced me to take admission into this college. I did not get admission in the bhawanipur education society, that's why I chose this college. There was no eligibility test, that is the problem. A lot of undeserving students were there.

SNU will soon be releasing applications for SUNET 2024 (Sister Nivedita University Entrance Test). The university also accepts admission based on GMAT/ CAT/ JEMAT/ MAT/ WBJEE/ JEE-Main / GATE/ NATA etc. Interested candidates can visit the official website for more admission-related information. WBJEE Exam 2024 is scheduled for April 28, 2024 whereas CAT 2024 is scheduled for November 24, 2024. The application forms for NATA 2024 are out. Interested candidates can apply.
