CVS Delhi Placement 2025 FAQs

Ques. Are off-campus placement opportunities available?

Ans. . Off-campus placement has provisions for students, and it is also promoted by colleges along with campus recruitment drives. These kinds of placements enable students to directly apply to companies or on external platforms such as LinkedIn, Internshala, or job portals. Students can find Off-campus jobs and internship vacancies through the placement cell through email notifications, WhatsApp groups, or notice boards in colleges.

Ques. When does the placement season usually begin?

Ans. The placement season in all but a few colleges generally starts in the fifth semester, the third year of the undergraduate program. The placement sessions normally start in August or September and go on till the end of the last academic year. The placement cell can organise pre-placement talks, various aptitude tests, various group discussions with the alumni, and multiple interviews with companies during this time. Students just need to enrol for the training sessions and update their resumes in order to maximise the available opportunities during this period.

Ques. What roles are typically offered during placements?

Ans. During placements, candidates are exposed to a range of profiles based on their course background, skill set, and visiting companies. The companies are usually offered profiles like Business Development Executive, Marketing Associate, Financial Analyst, HR Executive, Sales Representative, Operations Associate, and Content Writer. Sometimes, there are also roles in digital marketing, data entry, customer support, and teaching or tutoring for ed-tech platforms. For students from commerce and vocational backgrounds, positions in e-commerce operations, finance, tourism, and retail management are equally prevalent. They assist recent graduates in getting industry experience and establishing careers from the entry level.

Placement Experience:

College of Vocational Studies has a very active placement cell called "ASPIRE". Many MNC'S like Delloite, etc comes as active recruiters. The average package however seems low because of Vocational Courses as their packages go low. The avarage package comes around 4.5LPA-5.5LPA.
