Life at CVS

Likes

The ground is nice the crowd is nice the canteen is nice and its food os very affordable and so is the fees of the college per semester and the landmarks near the college is really nice too. Overall its nice
There are many societies and festivals which make the college and campus experience really grest

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not the best and there is a need for ACs
Sometimes people can be a bit judgmental

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Fourteen thousand rupees Almost fifteen thousand rupees I dont think that the fees is more than fourteen thousand for anyone Reservations for obc, sc/st and only girl child are available Not for students from general category

My experience as a first year student in CVS, DU

Likes

The only college providing vocational courses
College has a girls common room and boys common room

Dislikes

New building has not yet been opened despite the construction has been completely
Exam timings for the students pursuing vocational course are 2:30 to 5:30 which makes it too hot in summers

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees I paid for the 1year was 12,800. The fees has to be paid on the yearly basis and not sem wise. Scholarship opportunities are available for student. The fees for the second year has not yet released but I guess it has been increased.

A True College Review

Likes

Faculty of our college is good. Well educated and qualified teaching staff
College provides a diversity of students from different states across India

Dislikes

College infrastructure is not so good. It can be better
Hostel facility is not available for students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The annual fees of my course is Rs.12830 There are also other miscellaneous charges like examination fees in every semester. Scholarship is also provided by college. Campus employment opportunities are very rare.

Faculties and staff are good and helpful. Many courses to choose.Campus life according to the students environment is nice
Garden area is very beautiful and well maintained

Dislikes

Small campus size. It feels like a small park
Infrastructure could be better. No air conditioned rooms. Small size of classrooms

Delhi University always provides courses in affordable fee but also provides scholarships for students who are not financially very well. If someone scores good they can get scholarships for their fees by providing the required documents.

College of vocational studies - MY JOURNEY

Likes

The crowd of CVS is extraordinary. There is no ragging the seniors are really helpful and the cultural societies are very active which makes your college experience very wonderful
The faculties of commerce department are really nice and some of them are really helpful. Teachers are dedicated to their schedule and will help you throughout your internals.

Dislikes

There is no science department in our college which makes it a less diversified college. There are no science labs and activities. Also the strength of our college is very less as compared to other colleges.
We have a huge ground but it's for nothing we can't organize any fests or any DJ in that ground due to the presence of a hospital nearby which is PSRI hospital.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees is to be provided annually for example I had to pay 11250 annually for three years for my course bcom hons. There was a very minimum hike in the annual fees which is less than 1000 rs which I consider as very affordable. The scholarship opportunities are available you can avail them if you're eligible for it. You just have to fill a form with necessary documents. Also you can join the placement cell from the very beginning it provides you a lot of opportunities to get a part time internship or a full time employment. The package depends upon which role you're applying for and which stream you're from.

CVS an honest review

Likes

The faculty is really good along with the teachers. They are all professionally trained to teach college students and well qualified.The classrooms,washrooms and corridors is spacious and cleaned very frequently by the college staff .
The behaviour of the staff is great as well and the security is top notch many books are available in the library and there is ac available in common rooms which are separated for both girls and boys with clean washroom in and outside the common area

Dislikes

There might be one or two bad things about the college like management during admit card distribution or any program or function there is a ruckus and fights occur very frequently otherwise i don’t have any issue with the college

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Being under UNIVERSITY OF DELHI my college is a government college which makes it really affordable with my course being 12000 per year and the rest course also come around this figure for tution fee. I live in a pg whose rent is 10k per month and along with all the other expenses it comes around about to 15 to 20 thousand rupees per month

The real review

Likes

The first thing which I like about the college is the society which are very active and very diversify. There are society like drama , dance , singing, tech , business, enterprenuship, travel society and many more .
And the other thing which I like about the college is the crowd which are very friendly and good thoughts and the seniors are very friendly. And their activities like ragging are extremely ban .

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college are very bad and not well maintained. The main campus building are not in good condition .
And the conditions of classroom are very boor they are not air conditioned and the projector not work. And mostly classes are canceled during the start and end of the semester

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The tuition fees of the cource is 12830/- per year and their are also scholarships available and but which available when the student have family income low then 5 lakh per anumaan an d student have to maintain 7 cgpa +

Cvs college is really amazing you got lots of memory here abd learn so many things regarding your culture and also about your life style because of different state of students and make so many memories
And another thing about there infrastructure there infrastructure is really amazing lots of building and also easy to going walking distance metro and also have stalls and stationary medical store in short every thing is near

Dislikes

If i am talking about bad things regarding college so during summer time it is too hot even and theirs fans are slow which make you irritated
There placement cell is not good you got good education but about placement there is no scope or too less placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

So tuitions fees of cvs college is not too much expensive it is reallyy affordable and apart from tuition fees there is only examination fees which is also not so expensive it is around 600-800 once a year which is also very affordable and about scholarships i really don't know about it

The college, especially my course BA VOCATIONAL STUDIES (MARKETING MANAGEMENT AND RETAIL BUSINESS) gives the freedom to explore as much as one can unlike the honours courses whose syllabus is vast and competitive.
Crowd is really good, no wonder in that!

Dislikes

Hostel faciltiies could have been provided

I do not have an idea about the tuition fee. And yes, my college does provide financial assistance to the students who have taken student loans to encourage their education. Overall, the fee structure is quite affordable, it charged 10k per year for my course, an amount in which a private institution kid's conveyance expenses could have been paid only.

Focuses equally on academics and extra curricular societies
Great campus for a south campus college, good location, accessible to people.

Dislikes

Administration is very slow in processing work

The fee structure is very affordable for all classes, in my opinion. And there are scholarships available for extraordinary students who do good in their academics continuously. I have not taken any campus employment so far but it is available.
