The college is not running on the full potential
Lack of proper infrastructure as per the courses
College is not well recognised in the entire university after having so much different courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is one of the finest in this field and the carriculum and teaching methods of the faculty is very good especially their inturnships in the different fields The frequency of the exams are very perfect .

Placement Experience

The placements by the colleges are good but not upto the marks as some placement drives are done by the societies which works in the colleges on different issue but their sucess rate is good and collega provide not upto mark placements on its own

Fees and Financial Aid

Cvs takes about 15000 to 20000 for the vocational courses and there are separate charges for the examination fees . Cvs also provides the facility for the scholarships for the categories like obc ,sc and st's , these scholarships are based on the guidelines given by the central govt. to the delhi university.

Campus Life

The campus is neat and airy and fun surrounding by the nature full full of tress and lush lawns and having different kind of activity and also many sports facilty for eg shooting cricket and kabaddi etc The annual fest are also the gems of the campus life

Admission

I preffered this college as this is one of the oldest and finest college in the asia and specifically in the delhi university offering this course and that is outstanding . This college also provide better placements

Faculty

The faculty and the students ratio is average but not upto mark but all the faculties are very experienced and easily approachable and they devote themselves fully to the students. Hod ashutosh sir is the gem in the faculty

Night Life

The main hangout spot of the collega is the cafeteria as it is situated in the middle of the campus and provide you different kind of the foods and the owner of the cafeteria ritesh bhaiya is so sweet. Locality is safe as there are 24/7 pcr van on the gate

JESUS & MARY COLLEGE - AN UNDERRATED GEM

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

Placement Experience:

From the second year people are eligible for internships and placements. Our course and college offers very well placements as compared to other colleges in terms of the industry exposure. My plan is to do the 4- year course and then do a job for 1-2 years then start my own business while pursuing masters degree

I to be honest don't like my course much but it's not too bad also , it does allow you to have a practical exposure along side your studies. As the pressure of syllabus is not much. Teaching methods are not too good also but not bad too. The difficulty level is not much.

Placements are offered in my college from top companies such as accenture, godrej, etc. Placements range from 6-9 lpa on average. Highest package is around 12 lacs but i am not sure. My plans after this degree are doing masters from a good university or working for 2 years.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
