Likes

Great societies and social opportunity. Have great library and good faculty memebers that are supportive in nature.
The areas nearby college are calm and location is very good. The pgs nearby offer good stay at comparitively cheap prices

Dislikes

The campur is cramped and isnt that big and hence infrastructure isnt very good
The sports opportunity is highly limited with less equipment and no coaches

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is highly helpful for govt exams as the syllabus is completely the same as of upsc cse history and political science . The practical knowledge however remains low due to only theory classes and no field trips The faculty members are good and have good command over subject and are able to teach well

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 8500 per year

Placement Experience

College has a placement cell that provides placement opportunity but very small number of students apply and get avg placement of 2.5 lakh and max placement of 7 lpa. Companies that visit are generally times of India, republic media, hettich, and various startups Approx 70 students get placed every year which is nearly 5% of the yearly passing out students

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of course is very nominal and is highly affordable. Scholarship are available for obc Sc and st. Also some states provide additional Scholarship Campus provides vc internship but is available for very limited number of students

Campus Life

College has multiple events like annual fest ambrosia. Cultural fest and multiple society fest and events. Books and journals are available in college library and demand can be made for those unavailable Sports howsoever is not that great and campus is small I.e 2.5 acre

Admission

The course was ba prog and the eligibility was board exam marks and the cutoff was 94% however eca quota helped for relaxation also sports certificate help a lot to students. The admission process is very lengthy and can be shortened in terms of online details and form filling

Course Curriculum Overview:

Very good curriculum- focus on practical approach rather than theories. The relevancy is great for sure. As a students of economics majors I am greatly satisfied with the curriculum here. People with other subjects like Political Science and History are also often offered educational trips

I found English hons to be a subject which can make me confident and fluent for the real world. Improvements could be done in management since it sometime lacks . the frequency and timing is fine the exams are of 3 hours which is enough for it .

Honestly, i would rate the course curriculum 8/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensive. At first I wanted B. Com but then one of my Aunt inspired me to take Economics hons instead . It provides a solid foundation for practical applications by blending the theoretical concepts for the real world applications

Just an Honest Review of SRCC, DU, Hostel, Delhi...

Placement Experience:

The placements of Shri Ram College of Commerce are one the highest in Delhi Univerisity. For the session 2023-23, the highest package was 35 lpa, average package was 10.15 lpa, median package was 8 lpa and the gross placement value was 51.6 crore. There were more than 100 recruiters from more than 15 sectors, including McKinsey & Co., BCG, Bain & Co., Kearny, Accenture, Delloite, JP Morgan & Co., etc. with more than 500 offers. The Placement Cell also launched an initiative of assissting people with special abilities to secure placements and interships. As of now, I have not settled to what I am going to do after graduation.

Honest review of DCAC

So I applied to a lot of college what happened really was there was an error in the list and due to that I wasn't able to get into Shivaji College in the round one and yeah I was getting an economics honors from there because my marks was actually higher than that but that just life you know destiny works like that way and I got this college and I am pretty much like happy now that I am in this program I would say II did get rejection from a lot of colleges like and what what was the main thing was one I made list pretty wrong 2nd was my marks weren't really great as well I would say take care of your health before CUET etc because it would really really matter at that time The admission process of the college is simple that you simply give CVT and that most of the time happens...Read More

DCAC and It's Crowd

I gave Cuet exam to take admission in this college. This college was on 7th rank in my preferences list as this college is not.much popular and as a outsider I knew only few college of Delhi University but because of normalisation process my marks cut down from 720 to 689 out of 800 which resulted my admission in DCAC.
