Which is better: BA Hons. Journalism from Lady Shri Ram or Delhi College of Arts and Commerce?

B.A Hons. in Journalism from Lady Shri Ram College is definitely a better option than DCAC. It is way better in terms of campus, ranking, reputation, student crowd, etc. The cutoff required for the institute is also higher. So, you will be among competitive peers. If you don’t get LSR, try to get into other south-campus colleges. DCAC is not included in any of the DU campuses, which is a huge disadvantage.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure for admission in Delhi University is very liable and pocket-friendly as compared to private colleges. The registration fee amounts to INR 1,500 and the yearly expense for journalism honours ranges from INR 22,000 to 23,000 including tuition fees, caution fees and other compulsory charges. The fee structure is uniform for all categories. However, the college provides various scholarships such as Post-Matric Scholarship, All India Course Scholarship and Merit-based Scholarships.

Journalism in DCAC

Fees are just rupees 17895 for a year for ba Hons journalism which is very convenient as journalism includes many different tasks. The campus is very beautiful, it has every needed thing which a campus need(they gave a tour even in online mode) There are no scholarships for bachelors but then you get a number of opportunities to grab in college to get placed or earn.

College analysis

There is only one such scholarship available fromt he side of college , but its actually too less , its rs.345 for a month and for that too we need to clear a test . So I don’t think that scholars is good enough.

NO, I haven't opted for any scholarship or education loan as the college fee is subsidized and very reasonable. The total estimate is around Rs. 18000 per year and semester examination fee(1000 per semester).
