Remarks

As its govt. college , so the college lacks in infrastructure and also funds for majority of things, apart from that other things are quite good . Good academics, good friend circle and social life . Also great fun and shopping as its at walking distance from sarojini nagar market

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I’m doing journalism honours, the curriculum is theoritical . But as per the course I believe it should be more practical based . We do have workshops but guest lecturers as suggested in the curriculum. But we should be taught more with the equipments

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement and job opportunities are there, but maximum students don’t prefer to take jobs from college as in out course only gardiation doesn’t give that much value. Maximum students go to pursue post graduation. No, our college doesnot provide any internship.

College Events

4

Generally all the events are celebrated in our college. Every department whether it be english, history, commerce, political science, journalism etc have their department fests. Also on every social issue campaigns are held. Various companies come to promote their stuff, small programmes are organised for festives.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its a government college , so fees is very minimal , its 16745 for an year. The fee structure is feasible. But additional to the yearly fee every semester we nees to pay an examination fee of rs.910 .

Fees and Financial Aid

There is only one such scholarship available fromt he side of college , but its actually too less , its rs.345 for a month and for that too we need to clear a test . So I don’t think that scholars is good enough.

Campus Life

1

They are not good. Our college lacks in infrastructure too much as its a proper govt. college made on pwd land. We have a big media lab , but die to some dispute with the university it doesn’t have any equipment and it doesn’t function

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni’s are quite helpful . They provide us with various links for internships . Often we get to meet our alumni in our department fests. Some of our alumni are often called for guest lectures in college . So we get to interact with them there.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is quite good. Our department is one of the most different as well small department of the college . We have in total 30 students in each year. So the faculty connect with the students so well .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked Economics as a subject in my class 12th and I choose this course for my undergraduate degree. I really liked the curriculum as it includes both practical knowledge and theory too. It's not theory heavy. Course includes some real life problems that I can relate very well..

Course Curriculum Overview:

I find thr course curriculum quite relevant. Geography is a very dynamic and practical subject and our course is designed that way to provide students a comprehensive knowledge of the course. We usually have two theory and one practical subject related to the course providing all the necessary learning and also preparing us for further research work.

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit
